I love that show. I have it on DVD and watch the whole series every couple of years. Becker's attitude on humanity and society pretty much matches my own, so it was refreshing to see at that time and is still fun to watch. Although Jake was my favorite character; but again I could relate because I was legally blind as a kid.

I think part of the reason bigotry is on the rise is that people are hurting and struggling, and in such cases it becomes all that much easier to lash out, or get full of hate.
