Does Friendly's still exist? I've not seen a single one here in NJ in years. EDIT: Wow, there's 7 in north NJ but they're very spread out; closest one is 10 minutes away but the rest are all 35 minutes or more away. Somehow there's more of them than Arby's, which there's two and the closest is an hour away) Friendly's is still around, but a lot more thinly spread than their heyday. And Covid. It seemed like Joe hated the fame and attention and so Taylor went quiet to appease him. Civil War sucks. The quest line itself is so far away from the immersion that the game sets up for it. Its still one of the few things in the game you can't fix with mods either, because the coding is so wonky nobody bothers to mess with it. College of Winterhold is boring AF. Companions is too short and forgettable. Thieves Guild has a lot of problems. There's little thieving in the main quest, it's all in the radiant quests, which are pretty boring. All the characters are pretty much assholes to your character. And you have to sell your soul to a Daedra to advance. Fuck that man Dawnguard / Vampires is fine I guess. I like appreciate that they at least tried to make the radiant quests somewhat interesting this time. Dark Brotherhood is the only really good faction in the game. The characters are memorable, the story has a pretty gut wrenching twist, and I like Commander Maro as the antagonist. All of it could've been avoided if it weren't for Astridiot. --- Don't ask about Charlemagne. |
