We have an agreement with Morgan State University and a few other HBCUs for work and I worked with some interns from there the last two summers, with one returning next spring. I'm hoping they're safe but I don't know if it would be weird/insincere to check on them since I wasn't their direct supervisor As long as you already have access to their contact info it should be ok.
