Idk bro that seems like Caster's deal every Grail War why are you not just prepared for it.

It is the end result of a decade of every German player developing in the exact same way. They are all good at the exact same thing, but none of them have different, complimentary skillsets. It's absolutely wild that they got to this point and I don't know what it is in player development there that caused it.

Also Tomiyasu fuckin dominated that game you love to see it.

I don't dislike Rin but I've had a whole show to get to like Saber already.

I think it was done as tastefully as they possibly could.

I think F/Z establishes the world and the rules a lot better. F/SN would've been a lot more confusing if I hadn't been grounded in the world by F/Z first. Also would miss out on the Iskandur bro goodness.

But yeah that Fate route sounds really bad compared to what I've seen so far.

This show is absolutely phenomenal. The character interactions are all so good, then you throw in the god tier UFOtable fight scenes. I'm hooked.

I was gonna try to get my gf to watch these with me, but idk if I can sit through all of Fate/Zero again coz it's got nothing on this.

This means nothing to me, but I looked up some gameplay stuff and it looks really cool. It seems they're focusing a lot on the relationship between Servant/Master which is what is great about this series in the first place. Also Gil is a shop owner lmao

Also I watched the end of F/Z last night. God, Iskandur is such a bro. I teared up at the end of that bit, esp with Gil recognizing Waver's loyalty.

And then I felt so terrible for Kiritsugu. I was a bit confused but I looked some stuff up on the wiki, got spoiler'd a little but I never care about that stuff. It made more sense what was going on when the mud happened though.

But the biggest thing was how they did villainy so well with Kotomine. The way this man smiled giving Rin that dagger is absolute PEAK levels of menace. I cannot WAIT for that man to get what's coming to him (he does, right? RIGHT?)

And I watched the first episode of UBW right after. Hearing Sukuna's voice actor out of Archer was a TRIP lmao.

I just saw a preview for Fate/Samurai Remnant and it looked really cool. Apparently it's a game but I have no idea if that's gonna be visual novel style or whatever

Has Kizaru been fleshed out more over the last 14 years? The match was back in 2009 and people kept saying they didn't know how various things worked because they weren't explained yet (like Haki, I think).

Kizaru not so much, but One Piece's power system, yes. Basically if you don't have Haki you're not hitting Kizaru, and you need haki to coat your weapons in order to hit Logia devil fruit users.

Oddly enough we're on the verge of getting a major battle for Kizaru in the manga right now that'll probably clarify a lot of his abilities.

I'm trying to remember some of the arguments for Fate speed feats but I think they were probably from the VN saying things like "so and so moves at mach 2" and then extrapolating from there. It's all foggy because it was well over a decade ago but I knew it was bullshit then, and after watching Saber vs. Lancer it just jumped out at me how much it's bullshit now lmao

I really don't think the Yumichika line is essential. I think making Gigi's gender ambiguous is just fine. Especially since the additions to the Bambies vs. Ichigo fight were already really good, showing that making positive changes isn't something they're against for the anime.

I am positive FGO wasn't out back when the MPFC shenanigans were taking place on board 8. However, the Dragonball chars have powerscaled too since then.

He's basically 1 to 1'd everything from manga to show, but is there not a chance for him to make changes in the ending since the feedback to it was so negative?

Why didn't he just end every arc the way he did Soul Society that was literally perfect. Satisfying conclusion that opened up so many more questions and made the intriguing world of Bleach much bigger than we had even thought.

It depends where you stopped really. I think if you have a rudimentary understanding of the setting and characters you can probably just dive into the new show without watching the other arcs before it.

Yup. Like I said, hadn't watched a single episode post Soul Society and I jumped right into TYBW no problem. It helps that these battles seemed set up FROM THE BEGINNING, like I knew about the Quincy/Shinigami stuff from Soul Society. Ichigo being part EVERYTHING was also plain from the beginning.

It also helps that most of this arc animated has been absolute fire.

btw SHINE you were right I went back and read/watched the bits with Aizen. PEAK.

I've watched almost all of the Aizen goodness through clips over the years. Also watched most of the big fights. He didn't put out anything close to Ichigo v. Renji and Ichigo v. Byakuya for the rest of the series IMO

I quit Bleach after Soul Society, and literally came back to it because a clip of Shinji vs Bambietta came across my Twitter and the soundtrack/everything else was so good, I've been hooked ever since.

It's actually surprising how easily I've been able to follow everything with only knowing Soul Society/TYBW but it's kind of like Kubo had this stuff planned while writing Soul Society in the first place.
