I'm dumb and don't get it.

FFS is probably the coolest cosmetic surgery that we have. Its just insane to see how capable we are of molding the human body. It seems like yours was very effective. How affirmed do you feel now vs before?

I wonder what separates a bad one from a good one, and where we might be in the future?

I spent 6 months finding a surgeon and 1.5 years on his waitlist. 50k for high-quality surgeon was accurate a few years ago, but it's gone up a bit.

I ended up picking one of the most expensive surgeons. Cost wasn't an issue for me and he was the only surgeon where almost every result I could find was something I'd be happy with. Basically I wanted to make sure that even if I low-rolled I would probably end up with a face I was happy enough with to not want revisions, bc I really didn't wanna go through with this twice.

I think I ended up high-rolling, though. It's hard to know for sure because I have to mentally subtract out the jaw swelling, but it seems like I'm gonna end up looking pretty stunning. So thats cool :3

The pain was pretty manageable ( I mostly used ibuprofen and tylenol once i was out of hte surgery center, I only needed tramadol once for breakthrough pain) but the discomfort really sucked. I had super low energy for the first few days, had to sleep at a 45 degree angle for a week, had to eat a liquid diet for 2 weeks, couldnt take a shower for a week, couldn't brush my lower gums for 2 weeks etc.

Also (spoilers bc kinda gross) my nose was completely filled up with clotted blood for the first few days and I just couldnt do anything about it (no picking, no nasal sprays, no blowing your nose).

They had these internal nostril splints wedged way down my nostrils to hold them open, and I had to trim my nose hairs before-hand, so gunk built up all around it. When they took out the splints they pulled out the biggest boogers I've ever seen from my nose, and they were that gross mix of blood and snot you get after a nosebleed. I had to breathe almost entirely through my mouth for a week because my nose was so clogged

Wow, what an experience. I never thought about how much that stuff would affect your day to day.

I thought there was some validity to removing the feature of easily replaceable batteries enabling new phone design features.

Thats insane.

Complying with the state law would cause cars to violate a federal law that states a safety standard. The letter is meant to remind them that the federal laws set by the NHSTA take precedent over the state law.

The worry is specifically regarding giving open remote access to the cars telematics. This allows people to do repairs outside of a mechanic shop. However, the opening of access has a potential to give bad actors remote access as well.

-11 year old taking care of 10 month old feed her a mint, probably something you shouldn't do
-baby starts choking
-father gets angry, family gets angry
-a fight breaks out and some how mace is involved?
-the daughter goes out and grabs a gun, the police officer says she grabbed it from her car, but he probably just mispoke and it was a parents car

I could fit in there.

I leave dirty dishes in there. Covered in grime and food and dust. The bacteria grows, colonies form, and the smell of decay fills the room.

Then I pour the bleach down. It only takes a cap full. It kills everything. Nothing is left behind. The water is clear now and the smell is gone. I can leave that water there for days and it will stay clear.

Somedays I wonder, could I become that clean? They say in a scenario where all you have to drink is dirty water you can put a tear drop of bleach in it to make it potable. Just a tear drop. A tear drop and all of my grease, my filth, my sins are washed away.

But maybe we aren't meant to be that clean. Maybe to be human, is to be unclean. These are questions I don't know the answers to.

I only know one thing.

I dont have a prescription for what women should be attracted to. The way things are makes sense.

Im just frustrated that I cant seem to figure out how to attract and maintain a relationship. Ive had a couple but they were generally bad. One cheated but lied about it for months and constantly painted me as the crazy one.

Its frustrating how unsympathethic people that have figured it out are. Blaming you for getting cheated on. Making fun of you for not being able to get relationships.

And its frustrating that people refuse to acknowledge any advantages women have in dating, or life. Hearing my female friend talk about how nice everyone is and how she gets on dating apps to boost her self esteem. Or hearing a woman in group therapy talk about how supportive their s/o is through their panic attacks and suicidal thoughts.

Ive thought this too, but was told I wasnt by therapists.

Maybe we are just socially inept. It feels like everyone has something I dont though

Yeah, always been hard for me, at least socially. For some reason I'm fine in a business setting, maybe because there is a more defined set of rules for those sorts of situations.

Similar for me. I like rules. Rules make things better.

Ive always struggled with this. Especially when it comes to text conversations where you cant read social cues.

And I started taking Vyvanse for weight loss and ADD. And I think it might make more anxious? Possibly exacerbated by the combo with Lamictal.

The cop probably didnt shoot thd kid on purpose but even if it was an accident you cant be so trigger happy that a kid walking around a corner causes you to shoot. If youre like that you just cant be a cop anymore.

This was my gripe with the show. It wasnt as bad in the first few seasons but as the show went on it just seemed to get worse and worse for him.

I really liked Faction 103 and the Jim and Sam show on my way to work.

Someone finally realized that Nicolas Cage's addiction to the "yes" applies to any media, not just film.

I take a headphone out of my ear, say "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know you were using it." then put the headphone back in and hurriedly leave the squat rack she wasnt using mid-set.

TC isn't 100% off the mark here, sometimes people do things they think they'll enjoy that will be bad for them in the long run.

I was playing a game called Grim Dawn that I was some what enjoying, then someone showed me this tool that lets you get any item in the game and set your level to whatever you wanted. I used it, and was immediately bored with the game and never finished it.

But in some games it is a benefit. Like I'm sure a lot of people genuinely enjoy playing The Sims and just giving themselves infinite money, even though that is technically a cheat.

There is a scale to what anti-male means, but I would say it definitely is.

I would say women is to gaming, as men are to therapy.

In that men are the out group in therapy and women are the out group in gaming.
