They can be used as batons, guns, or fire extinguishers (cuz the original sentai that team was fire fighters). A majority of the main cast is still there till now and the show still feels relatively the same as it did in its beginning. Couldn't say that about other procedurals like NCIS and Hawaii Five 0. It's consistent for me imo.

All the new ranger stuff sucks. I was watching it with my niece and noticed all the props look worse than the ones in the series that are more than a decade old. The morph vfx sucks ass and the weapons are straight up just toys off the shelf.if you're looking at newer stuff from Samurai through Beast Morphers Season 1. It was all ran by Saban for a while, so it had the usual cheapness that came with Saban. I like the idea of MMPR power sets still being capable of handling todays threats, and also I'd rather billy use ingenuity to deal with threats in ways the mmpr power set cant.
