I could get that criticism. I don't really hold onto Knocked Up or other Apatow movies the way I do 40 Year Old Virgin. And I believe he produced Superbad which I love. Most of his movies are one and done. He needs and EDITOR.

Having comics in the office is literally straight from the She Hulk comics like 20 years ago by Dan Slott.

Show was solid. Moon Knight was wayyyy underwhelming and you never hear about it.

I'm Greek Canadian, but I know that Greece has (or had) refugee detention jails and camps and that the police that worked there are often far right wingers. Add the fact that Eastern Europe is corrupt as s*** and the fact that rules are merely a suggestion, there's a recipe for disaster. They also have 1000's of islands and the amount of coast and boats to deal with could be overwhelming. Most of these migrants use Greece as a travel point so they can get to the Western Euro countries (places with better benefits and safety nets, jobs).

I like the story but did not like the experience of reading it. I like the movie more.

Interview With the Vampire sucks as a book. It's all narration by Louis and there are barely any chapter breaks. You're forced to take breaks mid conversation every time.

I'm like 25 pages into A Clockwork Orange and I am not liking the dialect of the book. F***ing hard to follow and I've seen that movie like 3 times at least. My only saving grace is that I SORTA know what's happening due to remembering the movie, kind of.

I was absolutely hooked on Harry Potter back then. I could read book 1 in 1 sitting.

I kind of enjoyed it for what it is. My take on why it's tanking:

The hype around Keaton barely reaches anyone under 35-40 years old, and the people that he would reach are old as s*** and are not a key blockbuster movie demo (ie. TikTok kids, teens)

Ezra has major problems, but I have no idea how widespread that is in public versus the online movie sites and news.

The DCEU is a f***ing mess and there's probably a reluctance to get involved with something that isn't a sure thing, even if it technically "resets" everything.

Any hype around the crazy cameos at the end is not really gaining traction the way that the big (and more consequential cameos) in Spider-Man NWH got.

It simply isn't as good as the average Marvel movie.

Indiana Jones is another one of those franchises that no one under 25 is going to give a damn about. It will probably beat The Flash but not by too much IMO.

Yeah, Never Say Die and Technical Ecstasy are pretty flat after those first 6.

The Sopranos is the best of the premium cable and streaming era. That I do know.

All those old sitcoms are tough to beat. Lots of gems.

The Sandman comics are phenomenal. Great adaptation on Netflix too.

Fair enough. I literally had just turned 21 and lived in Seattle when the Seattle Sound bands all became big. Got to watch Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice, and Nirvana in small bars like the Offramp, Rock Candy, The Crocodile, Moore Theatre, etc. so I have a special place in my heart for them.

And Chris Cornell is the GOAT IMO so I am really biased.

Fair enough, that's some wild stuff to see them in small places like that on the ground floor of their rise. I've seen Cornell solo in 2008 and SG in 2011 and he sounded amazing. Thankful to have seen them. Also seen PJ x3 and AiC x2 with William.

I really fucking hate this guy and the damage he does with his platform. To top it all off I occasionally catch some of his stand-up comedy on my Sirius channels and he's not even funny there.

Yeah he ain't really that funny. His show is very guest-dependent.

The only times I hear his show are when some of the comics are on. Shane Gillis, Mark Normand, Bill Burr, Dan Soder Big Jay Oakerson, Chris Distefano, Joe List, Louis CK, that's basically it.

He's almost at Facebook uncle level in terms of his takes.

The first few Soundgarden albums are good, but they're not classic enough to hold up to a lot of the answers here. Badmotorfinger and Superunknown are great though.

Joe's show was fun when it was an online thing that only myself and none of my peers heard of. The same sentiment goes for most of these LA and NY comedy podcasts.

Most creatives do their best stuff in their 20s. And back then, they churned out more. Sometimes an album per year. They're still young and energetic and haven't gotten PAID yet.

These 2 guys dying were such massive blows. Honoured to have seen Cornell as a solo act as well as with Soundgarden. He sounded incredible. And as for Chester, I'd say that Linkin Park was the first time I became a fan boy of a band. Massive impact.
