My collection is mostly Fromsoftware, Valve, some Bethesda, and the Resident Evil series.

This is the one I use, and I love it. ExactAudioCopy is what a lot of others use, but fre:ac is multiplatform and is much more intuitive to use

Although, right now there is a bug where the online CD metadata tag service isn't working with fre:ac

For some reason fre:ac forced me to actually downgrade since their latest version doesn't support my CDs.

So I'm using 1.1.6 instead of 1.1.7.

A bit weird, but yeah, very, very happy with the results.

Don't even need to name the folders or any song files, it knows it all. :)

And with Discogs, that's simply a middle man to help you find physical CDS from around the world?

I might need to just stick with Goodwill shops on Ebay then.

But yeah, that's far too low, and yes, I can easily tell the difference.

256 kbps feels "dirty" to me for some reason.

That Brennan seems quite nice.
But no AC3 audio port and doesn't feature a built in EQ.
$700 is also a bit off putting. :/

I have Spectrum Satellite cable, their Premium HD service.
It's such garbage though.
720P with the lowest bit rate possible, but technically it's still HD (>480p SD) so they can't be caught lying on this.
