I think he's in such upper class bubble he probably literally doesn't know anyone that has free school lunch for their kids therefore in his mind it's not a big deal. A cursory google search says around 9 million live in food insecure households, and free lunch (and other meals) absolutely, 1000% does make a difference in their lives. That's not an opinion it's a fact and it's super gross that we don't think feeding children is a good use of money (which comparatively isn't even that expensive btw) --- So you think I don't have a wife? I'm not fat anymore but I still don't drink soda because even a little bit makes me feel like shit.
