The movie is really fun but sadly shoves Scott's character development into a corner.

Even just leaving in the cut scenes of Nega Scott lurking around (literally like a grand total of 2min of content) would have helped matters there.

I dont think it necessarily shoves his character development into the corner its just both heavy handed and subtle with it like at the end Scott gets along well with his evil twin implying that Scott himself is the evil twin. It kind of just ends right as Scott is starting his journey of personal growth

the issue is when there is financial, or social gain for it, the white person using the AAVE tends to receive most of it instead of the Black people who came up with it.

i think the deal is worth it for both parties as it makes a lot of sense for what both of them want.

adidas wants to rid themselves of the Yeezy brand, while not completely tanking their profits for the foreseeable future.

Kanye needs money and if he ever wants to get into the shoes/fashion industry solo. Hes gonna need the revenue and infrastructure a half a billion dollars worth of shoes would provide.
