The Han Dynasty of China that lasted hundreds of years was started by a prison guard due to a kind of stupid law.

Liu Bang was a prison guard and while escorting prisoners some escaped. In under Qin law the punishment for letting prisoners escape was death, so Liu bang just decided to free the remaining prisoners and make a run for it. Him and some of the prisoners ended up forming a squad and ended up over throwing the Qin dynasty.

Would have probably never happened if losing prisoners didn't have such a harsh penalty.

must be something expensive to not leave at door. cant remember the last item but they did just that.

It is about $100 worth of electric cables and connectors, not sure why they would need me to sign for that.

ordered a package and they sent it through UPS.

They will only deliver if they can physically hand it over to me, they can't drop it at my door.

They also only deliver while I am at work.

If I want to change time or instruct them to leave it at the door I have to make a UPS account and pay $12.

Probably just going to cancel my order and reorder from either Amazon or somewhere that uses Fedex or USPS.

Math, Science, language, history are obviously core classes and have direct impact on future education and workplace skills. Politics/econ are close to core classes and are quite useful.

Computer classes are good, although I feel like most computer skills are kind of naturally learned by many kids with how much people are on computers.

It has to come down to PE, Drama, or Music. Of those music seems the most useless. PE at least keeps kids more fit and teaches them how to continue on with physical fitness later in life. Drama at least reinforces reading/literature comprehension. Music is a hobby.

Are they hand stitched with full grain leather?

I need some white shoes and I'm thinking about getting a pair of Common Projects White Leathers.

Today I went to get lunch. I go to Taco Bell and I'm waiting in line and I see behind me is American poet and cartoonist Shel Silverstein. Shel Silverstein gets one thing, he gets a Dr. Pepper and he turns to me and says, he goes "do you know why Dr. Pepper comes in a can?"
