To be fair "smash hits" are/were usually written to be catchy. For those who really like rock music, the "smash hits" are honestly some of the least favorite songs amongst many, favoring the album deep cuts that deviate from verse-chorus structure, which invariably are the songs that radio stations would never want to give airplay to in a million years.

You can sincerely make a decent living and make pretty good money in tips, at a nice restaurant as a server. I'm not even talking about like a Michelin Star, just a nice restaurant in a nice area where the customers have money.

Rittenhouse is a POS but when the prosecution's witnesses admitted that Rittenhouse was violently attacked and a Glock was pulled and pointed at him, before he pulled the trigger of his AR, any case against him in a legal sense completely unravelled. Everyone sucks including the "victims" and including Rittenhouse.

Interesting. I guess from my perspective, I rarely go out to eat unless there's a rather large party and about 2 hours is typically how long we spend at the restaurant, start-to-finish. I guess the exception to that for me would be some kind of casual diner like a Denny's, but they don't serve alcohol.

I suppose someone in our group probably ends up with somewhere between 3-5 drinks by the time we're done and may be technically over the limit or close to at that point, but I honestly never gave it much thought until right now.

If you have 2 drinks over the course of 2 hours your BAC is likely somewhere around .02-.04, closer to .02 especially if you ate a meal, and nowhere near the limit (.08 in most states). But then again it could depend on how strong your drinks are.

But if you quickly slammed a shot and a beer on an empty stomach, could be a different story certainly.

I honestly think this one is an example of Poe's Law. I genuinely think the Flat Earth Society is a deliberate joke, the people behind it are deliberately trolling, and some people have actually bought into it. And the more people who sincerely buy into it, the funnier it is to those behind it all.

I think it's chemtrails. For those who don't know the conspiracy theory is that airplane contrails are really deadly chemicals being sprayed on the population, referred to as "chemtrails" and is being done as a form of population control. The thing with this is, if that were true, the chemicals would affect everyone who breathes. Including the people responsible for the spraying, so it just makes zero sense.

Always. Newer cars are probably different but years ago I was always taught that the parking brake is designed to hold the weight of the car and your transmission is not, and using the parking brake every time will make your transmission last longer. I was also taught to shift into neutral, the engage the parking brake, before shifting to park and vice-versa before reverse or drive, a habit I'm still in to this day.

In many states it's also technically illegal to park without the brake even on a flat surface, though it's largely never actually enforced
