Constantly when I go to the store I'll see some of the regular instacart people and they are universally all terrible. Rushing through the store with no regard for others, pushing past people, always looking at their phone not paying attention to anyone who might be in their way, leaving the cart in the middle of aisles for minutes at a time, throwing shit, generally treating store workers like shit.

The other day one of the worst ones is this older woman and I saw her berated a store employee who pushed her carts out to her car because he wasn't going fast enough.

Was privy to my parents discussing solar energy. Dad is a hard-core maga my mom is very right leaning.

My dad said there isn't enough land for space on the earth to build all the solar panels and windmills to create enough power for our current needs. That doesn't seem correct.

Also that ev car batteries cost as much as a new ev so what's the point. That also sounds ridiculous.

There is no climate change and these things go in cycles. Don't even know where to begin with this.

My mom is very concerned with there being no charging stations for evs and if they want people to switch they need to have the grounding in place. But like that's what's going on now.

While I dislike that EBT is giving people that much money they can buy steaks and lobsters without a thought, the effort it will take to control what you can and cannot buy with EBT must be significant and not a worthwhile endeavor.

Ebt gives people especially a family barely enough if even to regularly feed themselves with more than the shittiest of food. Being on ebt/snap and needing it is hard enough but policing if someone wants to splurge once in a while is next level of asshattery.

I could be wrong, but I think it was for working on shoes, and those wooden spike things you would push in to keep a certain part of the shoe in place
