In the sense that they don't think they're people and therefore don't care what happens to them I'd agree...except they've translated that calloused apathy into political action which seeks to slowly eradicate their right to exist.

Whether they truly believe it or not is a fruitless exercise. At the end of the day they are trying to erode the rights of trans people to exist. It is an act of violence, endorsed by people seeking the highest office of the land. No one cares what Haley, DeSantis, or Trump actually believe at this point. There are colors that have societal perceptions with masculinity, likewise with femininity.

Red might be seen more as gender neutral, but hot colors or bright pastels aren't always treated that way. We're only 15ish years out on that stuff being outright stigmatized as an indicator of sexuality. And not even fully out, at that.

Look, don't get me wrong. As this incident 'goes viral' there are absolutely people out there who are sharing this exchange with glee in a form of misandry. That's not right. It's kinda how people attacked Lauren Bobert for getting an abortion - the issue wasn't that she got one, but that she got one after demonizing those that did. It's an assault on the privilege of their power.

And Tate goes to great lengths to insulate himself from any assault on his influence. He's not unique. There's been other grifters who sell the hyper-masculinized schtick of 'only i can teach you how to live an alpha lifestyle' bullshit. There are many who engage with Tate and those like him honestly, in good faith, with reasoned rebuttals to some of the most heinous shit he spouts. None of it penetrates that sphere of self-sealing bullshit.

But for a moment, this did. It gave his attempt to cause shit exactly the amount of respect it deserved (none) and blasted him back in a language he not only speaks, but wields as a weapon against others.

The choice of insult was tailored to the party causing the issues. If you're taking issue with the insult itself but not the context it was delivered in, you're effectively ignoring the entire reason it's being used to him specifically.

The Spyro remake has to be considered one of the best if not the best remake/remaster of a classic series, right? The amount of work they did to bring those old 3D models to life is really incredible.

It makes me so incredibly sad that the studio responsible for them was put onto a COD title. Thanks Activision, you great big bag of balls.
