I think he means on the scoreboard. No way to see your deaths in the middle of a match unless you equip a gun screen thingy that displays deaths.

I think they want players to stop caring about their K/D. Which they should, people chasing K/D often leads to more camping, particularly annoying in objective modes. Its not like K/D matters anymore anyway, with how strong the SBMM is.

I know the It was all a dream thing is kinda clich, but this movie also came out over thirty years ago, and anyway its really all about Jacobs journey/struggle to find peace and closure before he dies.

Also that movie had some crazy and memorable visuals that really stick with you. Some great deleted scenes too, the one where Jacob gets cured is insane.

It depends on where the bullet hit them
Even if the dead guy has an entry wound on his back, its really easy to turn mid-gunfight and catch a round in the back. The defendant could easily argue his or his moms lives were still threatened.

Really hope the Crown has a good reason for pursuing this and messing this guys life up. Like they better find that he shot one of the intruders in the back as he was running away at the very least. If hes going to get charged, go to jail, probably lose his job, maybe go bankrupt from legal fees etc. it better be because they have probable cause that his life or his mothers was 100% not threatened.

Fair enough, but again it was supposed to be a cold gun, which means blanks should not have even been in it. I misspoke in my previous post. A cold gun should not have blanks, but may have dummy rounds, which are also different and easily distinguishable from live ammo. Even blindfolded you can tell if you have dummy rounds because they rattle when shaken.

There are reports that the movie guns were being used for recreation after-hours, taken to the range and actually used to fire live ammo. This is another catastrophic safety failure, movie guns should never be used in this way while filming because it introduces a mechanism for live ammo to be put in the gun and possible left in there.

What is supposed to happen is the armorer checks the gun with the actor present, often directly showing the actor the dummy or blank rounds, before declaring the gun is cold and handing it off to the actor. Apparently nothing like this happened, the AD simply handed the gun to Baldwin and declared it cold himself, the armorer was not around at the time. Gross negligence all around. Also keep in mind that this set has already been plagued with safety issues, complaints were made, and previous to this incident there were two times when a gun that was supposedly cold (which means no blanks, nothing loaded whatsoever) went bang. So again, its insane to me that Baldwin wouldnt take the few seconds needed to ensure the gun was indeed cold before using it. Its extremely easy to tell the difference between live ammo and dummy rounds or blanks. With a revolver you dont even have to open it.

Film sets have a different set of rules. That's the end of the story. The armorer, and only the armorer, checks the gun.
Thats nonsense, when it comes to firearms, the ultimate responsibility lies on the one handling the gun, end of story. Last I heard, the armorer wasnt even present at the time, in which case why was Baldwin even handing the firearm at all?

Saying he should not be responsible because hes just an actor is a bad take. If actors will be handing firearms they have to be trained. If Baldwin received firearms training and still broke all four rules of firearms safety without first checking the firearm he was absolutely being reckless and is responsible. Even though no one would ever expect live ammo to be on a movie set, how someone could take a gun from someone and then proceed to break the four rules without personally checking it is beyond me, especially if that person had received any kind of professional firearms training.

Banning firearms on movie sets is also a dumb take. Weve been using firearms in movies for what, a hundred years? And we have 3 total fatalities in that amount of time? One of which may have been an intentional suicide. Its not hard to not shoot somebody on set, these incidents are all freak accidents.

Ive used both and while gas does heat up faster I prefer electric.

That being said, people should be able to use what they want. Necessity should have no bearing over what people can and cant own in modern society. Do you only own things you absolutely need, TC?

Yeah Buzz is abusive and gets away with way too much, and Uncle Frank is a real a-hole. I was surprised when I watched it with my kids after having not seen it in years.

Apparently in an early draft, Uncle Frank turns out to be a villain who hired Harry and Marv to burglarize the McCallister home. Perhaps his character retained some of those traits from when he was a villain.

I'm hoping it goes on major sale for black Friday, if not I'll hold out until it is like $30

I'll do the big brain move and play warzone 2 for free because that is what I was going to mainly play anyway
Probably the right call, game is fun but has serious interface and stability issues and missing features/content right now. Im sure it will get sorted and a lot of content will be added in the coming months but the beta back in September ran better and seemed more polished in ways.

I think Santa Sea Border and Taraq are the worst maps, but I still have enjoyable games on them. My favourite maps are Farm 18, Breenbergh (?) Hotel and Embassy, but the rest are good as well. I liked that Museum map in the beta as well, it had a nice aesthetic. I hope we get it back. They should probably stop modeling maps after real-world locations

Other things I really like are the weapon/attachment and camo progression systems, I like that they encourage variety. But again the interface sucks so bad, especially for camo selection, holy hell. The weapon animations and sounds are incredible. 3rd Person mode is actually pretty good and refreshing. I think the movement is in a good place too, jump-shotting is useful but not over the top with constant jumping, slide canceling is thankfully gone but sliding still has its place. Aim walking could be a touch faster. Dead silence should be better or a perk.

Campaign was great too.

So far Im enjoying it a lot more than MW2019, in terms of gameplay. The map design here is leaps and bounds above what shipped with that game. MW2019 had like 2 or 3 good maps at launch, most were way too big with too many hidey holes and second storey windows.

But yeah MW2 is clearly buggy and unfinished, with a dogwater UI and dumb perk system. No Gunfight, Hardcore (even though I dont play it), career challenges or barracks/combat record is ridiculous. Basically still beta-testing it now but at least the gameplay is fast and fun.
