Topic | What's the verdict on Octopath Traveler? |
JJH777 02/17/23 10:56:09 PM #29 | I enjoyed it. I even liked the storylines. It was nice having a bunch of more personal character based stories rather than the save the world type stuff you see in 99% of JRPGs. --- 9/2/13-The Hero of GameFAQs fought bravely but fell to an unrelenting horde supported by a corrupt tyranny. Topic | Alec Baldwin to be charged with involuntary manslaughter |
JJH777 01/20/23 1:29:36 PM #127 | DIstance77 posted... It's a very slippery slope. If you don't hold Baldwin accountable here, then what's stopping this from happening again? What's stopping another actor to fire another live round "accidentally" on a movie set, but for them to claim "they didn't know it was loaded" and skate away with no consequences? An actor should never have the opportunity to load a gun. Following your logic we should be charging literally 10,000+ actors with criminal negligence. In 90% of movies you watch the actors aren't checking for real ammunition. In fact I doubt the majority of actors and actresses can even tell the difference between a real bullet and a blank. --- 9/2/13-The Hero of GameFAQs fought bravely but fell to an unrelenting horde supported by a corrupt tyranny. Topic | Alec Baldwin to be charged with involuntary manslaughter |
JJH777 01/20/23 1:46:55 AM #100 | I hope that if Alec either had any inkling of an idea that the gun was loaded with live ammunition or if he was responsible for poor safety culture on set he is charged and thrown in jail/prison. In no way is he responsible as an actor pulling the trigger though. Holding actors accountable for shooting what they believe to be a prop gun is such a braindead take. It doesn't matter if he shouldn't have been pointing it at the camera woman. If it wasn't her it just would have been someone else during an actual scene when he's supposed to point the gun at someone and pull the trigger. The fault lies with whoever allowed live ammunition on set and permitted it to be loaded into a prop gun. If he was involved in those decisions then he should burn but it has nothing to do with him being the one who pulled the trigger. --- 9/2/13-The Hero of GameFAQs fought bravely but fell to an unrelenting horde supported by a corrupt tyranny. JJH777 01/01/23 11:55:54 AM #4 | Are you trolling by not including the obvious winner (Zelda) or just implying it will be delayed? --- 9/2/13-The Hero of GameFAQs fought bravely but fell to an unrelenting horde supported by a corrupt tyranny. R.I.P. Hero of Time, 7 time CB Champion, Link |

Topic | Why the hell do people choose food delivery? |
JJH777 12/11/22 3:05:03 PM #40 | There are frequently coupons or specific restaurant deals that make it more reasonable. Still a premium but it's more like $5-$10 instead of doubling the actual meal price. --- 9/2/13-The Hero of GameFAQs fought bravely but fell to an unrelenting horde supported by a corrupt tyranny. Topic | How many days paid time off do you get a year? |
JJH777 12/04/22 2:48:05 PM #33 | Just got bumped up to 15 days vacation (from 10) plus all the standard holidays I think add up to 10 days a year. 12 days of sick leave per year as well but I almost never use that for anything besides dental and eye appointments. --- 9/2/13-The Hero of GameFAQs fought bravely but fell to an unrelenting horde supported by a corrupt tyranny. JJH777 11/29/22 1:15:10 PM #92 | What a shitty decision. Really giving fuel to the "both sides" crowd. I hope they strike anyway. Who gives a shit if gas goes up for a bit and consumer goods are late. Everyone deserves a generous amount of sick leave hours and they can more than afford it. --- 9/2/13-The Hero of GameFAQs fought bravely but fell to an unrelenting horde supported by a corrupt tyranny. Topic | Is not enough money/lack of money, the biggest complaint you have in your life.. |
JJH777 11/26/22 12:15:45 PM #17 | I don't have any major problems right now. Besides the constant existential dread most people have of working during all my prime years, with the exception of a couple vacation weeks a year (if that), to experience life in a boring job I don't want to be at. Money would solve that. --- 9/2/13-The Hero of GameFAQs fought bravely but fell to an unrelenting horde supported by a corrupt tyranny. R.I.P. Hero of Time, 7 time CB Champion, Link |

You're probably not as big of a nerd as you think, because even black twitter was calling it out since Tolkien clearly outlines geographical locations and peoples in his lore and stories. What a stupid post. Thunderbolt Ross being recast is not even remotely equivalent to Tchalla. He was a side character and an old man. Society very obviously treats deaths of the young very different than death of the old. The only comparable example to Tchalla is Paul Walker from Fast who they did not recast. --- 9/2/13-The Hero of GameFAQs fought bravely but fell to an unrelenting horde supported by a corrupt tyranny. JJH777 11/04/22 12:05:40 AM #7 | I always think of dark humor as more like Tarantino movies rather than racism or asshole stuff. JJH777 10/02/22 6:23:54 PM #52 | At $26 an hour with 12% going towards retirement my takehome is only slightly higher than that and I still have plenty of money leftover for enjoyment and separate savings so yeah. Granted I split bills with my girlfriend. Without splitting bills it would still be possible but I'd need to find a cheaper place to live and wouldn't have any savings besides my employment based retirement accounts. --- 9/2/13-The Hero of GameFAQs fought bravely but fell to an unrelenting horde supported by a corrupt tyranny.
