interesting poll results. so far the majority of CE doesn't drink coffee.

always thought they were overrated. they're either hard as a rock, or melting and therefore messy. there's no in between.

IIRC, Allen has been in charge longer than CJayC was. Weird to think about.

So I looked up the aeropress because I was curious. So apparently the big difference between this and a French press is you don't have to let the water soak in the coffee ground? Aren't you supposed to let the water soak? I would be surprised if this results in better tasting coffee, but I'm not an expert.

never seen what the big deal is with protein shakes. i want to eat my calories, not drink them.

I drink my coffee black. Not sure what it is, I just don't notice a difference. I may have to try them side by side and compare. It might be because I usually buy shitty brands.

not gonna lie, even though i use a french press, i dont do most of the formalities. i dont see what the temperature of the water is, i dont care what type of beans i use (i dont notice a difference between pre-ground and beans i have to grind myself), and i dont pour water in twice. i just pour the water in once, wait a few minutes and then serve.

I used to hate soup when I was a kid. Why would somebody want to eat what looks like vomit in water? But as an adult, I think it's an extremely versatile food, and I love chicken noodle soup

I don't pay attention to Grammys or anything, but I hope they get it. My favorite band of all time. I was very surprised when they came back last year.

Edit: I think Just A Notion is their best new track, comparable to their old stuff. Their other new stuff is pretty good though

yeah i feel like i get more depressed over the winter. we both live in the state of NY, so the weather is notoriously bad. gray skies all the time, lots of snow. that will really get to you.

i usually go for black. like others have said, my phone is in a case 99% of the time. one time i had a white phone and it looked weird in a black case lol.

random comment, but i like it when vgbootcamp and other tournament organizers play multiple matches at once. we're less likely to miss potentially great matches this way, but i imagine it's a pain in the ass to commentate lmao.

dunno if its the same one, but i have the complete series on dvd. it comes in a blue case with 10+ DVDs in it.

btw i'm a big fan of the show. my favorite sitcom of all time IMO, and that's saying a lot because i'm not a fan of jerry seinfeld the person.

ended up buying the Soundcore Life P3 earbuds. i have a bunch of anker products and i've always been a big fan. reviews seem to be pretty positive, so hopefully i made the right choice.

That's why I like the little ear hooks. Keeps them from falling out, even while I'm running. Those are my workout earbuds.

It's just less wires to get in the way. Plus the earbuds can be charged directly in the case and you can use 1 at a time if you chose to.

the pixel buds had this feature where, if you take your earbuds out, the music video will automatically stop playing (without having to hit "pause" or anything). dunno if there's a name for it. but the feature was kinda finicky. sometimes the video would keep playing, or sometimes if i only put ONE earbud down, the video would stop playing. dunno if i like the feature or not, and not sure if it's a pixel bud exclusive.

cool, thank you. not a bad price for what you're getting. yeah i drop my earbuds too much. i always figured it was common, because sometimes they're small, and sometimes they fall out of my ear. i'm not sure if dropping my earbuds were the cause of my issues, but i'm sure it didn't help.

been doing a bunch of research on some earbuds. i've had two break on me:

1. had this pair of TOZO brand earbuds that i bought off amazon for $40. they were actually great for the price. don't remember how they broke, but i had them for like 1 year and then had to replace them
2. currently using the Google Pixel Buds A-Series. really great earbuds, but a few weeks ago the left earbud suddently started being very quiet...so i tried cleaning them, and now BOTH the left and right are quiet as hell. well shit lol.

i think i'm a little too reckless with earbuds or something. i do drop them more than i should. anyway, what do y'all use?

I don't recommend dating your coworker. Their intentions are hard to figure out and can be a distraction to the job.
