For the first (and possibly last) time ever, a whopping 96 games will compete for this year's crown! Round 1 will only be four days long; once round 2 starts and we're at 64 games, it will be the traditional length from there on out.

All matches will last 24 hours. All ties at the end of 24 hours will go to an additional 24-hour overtime period. In the first three rounds, if two games are still tied at the end of OT, then a sudden death vote will be administered with the first game receiving 5 votes wins. Starting in the Sweet Sixteen, any games that entire OT will continue until one has more votes at the end of said OT.
