I dont think anyone is denying there are links (heh) between some of the games. But certainly not to the extent some of the more hardcore fans like to think there is. Cant deny there isnt some retconning going on especially when you start talking about diverging timelines.

Also the op with that super in-depth analysis of a 18 month development time game is definitely a hell of a reach.

Kudos for Nintendo creating a game series that is celebrated so much and attracts such a hardcore following. But some of the stuff people claim is such a reach.

Years ago there was a topic in which this guy asked CE for help with dealing with a "friend" that was apparently a charismatic psychopath that ended up raping a girl he knew. CE treated the topic quite seriously and gave the guy some advice and ended up getting more details from the guy about the psychopath.

A few pages into the topic, the TC tried to make a case for how persuasive that the psycho was and mentioned very briefly that the psycho had, at one point, convinced him that werewolves were real. CE spent the rest of the topic ridiculing the guy for it, while he desperately tried to save face.

And then the entire thread was derailed when he mentioned that the guy had convinced him at one point that werewolves were real.

I spent 40 quid on overwatch 1 when it came out and only played like 5 hours. I guess my money really is down the drain now.

For the most part. There was a campaign in May to save the game to which Valve responded. They have apparently brought in a contractor to clean the game up. The bots were instantly reduced by over half in one update, and subsequent updates virtually eliminated them. One type of bot occasionally shows up in games lately, but they get kicked pretty fast. Also, both teams can have a vote kick going at the same time now.

no it didn't. even tho the servers are online it is absolutely unplayable. every game gets 20 bots in it instantly. it's horrible.
