So, anyways, moving on from the weird troll from the NBAB who apparently has beef with me.

Are the "doxxing" claims only related to the jet tracker, or was someone like following him around? I'm just not sure if I missed something in that story.

Is Musk's "doxxing" claim referring solely to the tracking of his plane? The "real-time assassin's coordinates on my child" or however he phrased it is how he's spinning his animosity for something showing what airport his plane landed at? Or was there something more that I've missed among all the crazy Musk/Twitter shit recently?

I know there was the supposed incident of his kid getting harassed, but in that story I only remember hearing that it was linking to the jet tracker that was getting reporters suspended.

They may be obnoxious and all, but I don't see any reason to think I wouldn't make it safely home as soon as reasonably possible if I end up on Trump's/Musk's boat. I feel like there's a non-zero chance that Putin/Kim decide to hold on to this lost American for some sort of political game.

I guess I don't fully understand credit, admittedly, but don't other things factor in? History of car payments, say, or utility bill payments? I ask because I didn't have a credit card when I got a mortgage and still got, what appeared to be, a top rate. Maybe I'm the exception proving the rule or whatever. *shrug*

The car loan you're making payments on is another thing that can be difficult to get in the first place if you don't have a credit history, and even if you get approved you're likely to have a high interest rate. But yes, once you have one and make your payments on time it'll certainly help build up your score.

Getting approved for a mortgage with little/no history seems like it would be a pretty uncommon thing, yeah. Alone, at least... if you're co-signing with someone with great credit then it'd be much easier. A big down payment may help, too.

Credit cards are just the easiest way to start building it up when you have little/no credit history.

Yeah I'll put emphasis on this. Here in Juneau we average about twice as much rain as Seattle... and Ketchikan averages about twice as much as Juneau.

I don't really have strong feelings on the movies other than TLJ and RoS being complete messes with a few cool scenes. Never like deep-dive analyzed how I'd rank them otherwise, though I'd probably place AotC last among the rest of the main trilogies. Rogue One (propped up by the final act) and Solo (just a fun enough romp for what it was) were both fine.

Strongly agree with Andor being the best of the live action shows and among the best SW content, period (I probably still put the last 4 episodes of TCW at #1 though). Mando's great, BoBF was okay but underwhelming and too reliant on the Mando 2.5 parts, Obi Wan just felt so poorly executed and unnecessary.

So I guess I'm largely on board with TC's list, I'd just personally have to break things into tiers rather than a hard ranked list.

Probably just not viewed as much of a travel option for visitors, since it's a looong drive (that crosses into Canada) to get anywhere else in the state, like 8 hours to get back into Alaska at Tok then another 5+ to Fairbanks or Anchorage.

Yeah, I was thinking among the upper Lynn Canal's "bigger" towns. Haines (and a few tiny towns between it and the Canadian border) and Skagway are about the only SE AK towns you can drive to/from, lol.

Nah it's on the highway system, and of course you can fly in. Juneau is the one that's only accessible by plane/ferry.

Heavy usage, alcohol because it's probably more likely to negatively affect people around you. Second hand smoke is a real danger, but getting into the possible drunk driving, reckless or abusive behavior towards others, and interference with getting through day to day responsibilities.

Voted don't like, but it's more indifference, I guess. I'm only 4 episodes in, but feels like he's barely in the show and hasn't done anything noteworthy. He fits the look fine, but never been a fan of Guzman in general.

That's pretty much my use case with the Galaxy Buds+ that I got 18 months ago, and I haven't noticed any decrease in performance, battery life, etc.

Swinging the ball forward on one side of your body causes the rest of your body to want to rotate the opposite direction. Since you're sliding forward on the other leg and bending down, it does end up being pretty natural.

If all the paperwork has been signed and he's paid them for it, then I can't imagine they have much if any legal standing to hold the car, even if the title hasn't been transferred yet.

Even if they do, since he's already going through the proper process for the insurance claim, it really just seems like a dick move on their part. I work for a dealership and I really could not see the owners being cool with this.

Maybe it varies by ISP, but all it may take is sailing the wrong sea at the wrong time. A warning from my ISP (which they were forwarding along from Sony) over a new episode of Better Call Saul last year is what motivated me to just leave my VPN on at all times now, lol.

I don't really have an issue with it, though I'd argue the tactic is more about fulfilling their quotas or whatever than about actually making the roads safer. I'd imagine that having them plainly visible does a lot more to get more people to follow the speed limit.

If ties were rare they would be interesting. However, since soccer is such a low scoring game, ties are very common. It is ridiculous that they allow ties in an event that only happens every 4 years. Hell, literally half the games played on Tuesday were an infamous 0-0 tie.

Ties are allowed in the group stage because it's basically just a round robin. Matches can't end in a tie in the knockout stage which comes next.

If that ocean you live by is in Alaska, you don't get most of those things very often. At least not at comfortable temperatures.
