Chris-chan is not in the show. That was the original plan but there were concerns that Chris would be unable to follow any NDA and leak the show, plus there were certain rules about how many one-line cameos they could have on the show, so instead one of the other cast members did a Chris-chan impersonation.

If youre not running Psylocke and Magik in a Mister Negative deck to get him out early and to get an extra draw out of him, its probably not worth playing. Many of the other cards are negotiable but definitely not those two. Maybe Sera as well

I was caught off guard by Prof X being turned into a Symbiote on Klyntar in one of my losses. I figured he would just lockdown and not change.

Does Prof X stop Hulk Buster in his location from working (like if the opponent played it there same turn without priority)? Klyntar is not a destroy effect, it's a merge. AFAIK Hulk Buster is the only other thing with that effect. I also wonder whether Prof X can stop Gamma Lab, but only way I can think of for that to even happen is with certain locations. They should probably remove "etc" from his description and just list the exact things it stops either way

Maybe they fucked up their sequencing and thought that they could both Shuri and Zero their Red Skull, Ive seen people try that sort of thing absentmindedly

Also weird interaction I didn't expect. I play Aero and opponent plays a card on Shuri's lab. Aero pulls the card pre-flip since I had prio. Card still flips with doubled power just without the lab animation.

It makes sense from how the cards / location are written, I just didn't expect it.

You sure they hadnt played Shuri before? In my experience when you pull a card from a location before it flips with Aero, it doesnt get the when you play here location effect from either the original played spot or the spot you moved it to.

Wonder how Compile will feel about this

If you have priority on 6 against a Shuri Taskmaster you end up giving Taskmaster 3 power instead of 30 or whatever, unlike with Shang Chi where he still copies the destroyed card

Valkyrie can be used in anything where you have Ongoing buffs since she wont erase those. Or something like Angela or Bishop that will get another point after her On Reveal finishes

Mister Negative decks work well with her

I dont know how much they are tied to the yakuza today but in the past their Arcade business absolutely was

The other main use for Aero is to mess up Wong or Invisible Woman combos

Im pretty sure the random amount of tokens always ranges between 200-600, and 100 is always from the typical 100 token reserve.

That seems inconsistent with the other stuff like Rickety Bridge. Submit a bug report!

Invisible Woman's ability resolves after all the turns have ended, so Attuma doesn't need to check because there is no "end of turn" for him to look at.

Similarly Captain Marvel can move to his location at the end of the game with no problem. She can also move to Rickety Bridge at the end of the game without anything being destroyed

the 5 to 4 drop makes sense, it's just all the cards released in january + zabu, although they're almost all terrible

the 4 to 3 drop is....quite the set of cards...going to be exciting having to work towards those instead of getting big numbers of tokens again :/

the 4 to 3 drop is the last of the original big set of series 4 cards so it also makes sense

The card youre asking for exists and is almost universally considered the worst card in the game (Shadow King).

Here are some ways to beat the Shuri plays other than Shang Chi, but theres a weakness in common with all of them:

-play Valkyrie in the lane of the big drop, reducing its power to 3
-play Aero in the lane of the big drop so the Taskmaster takes the same location
-play Shadow King in the lane of the big drop, reducing it to its original power

this is why most of these decks preemptively play Cosmo wherever the big boy is going (it beats all of those ideas) and have stopped using Zola entirely

that's also a very easy bluff for Daredevil players to use though, so depending on what I think they're doing I stay sometimes

Where did you get the idea that Quinjet will work with her, we already have a card that returns to your hand and doesn't get affected by Quinjet (Deadpool)

Collector will work with her though

DNFDuel had a pretty successful launch, but developer support abruptly stopped for quite a while for no apparent reason, so it lost a lot of momentum

other neat thing with Kitty is she can dodge Killmonger if you pull her at the right time and dont play her again until the next turn

Yeah, thats actually why I thought they wouldnt let you play Kitty the same turn you pull her, for readability purposes. But a dev already said that you can!

Strange Academy is always bad for turn 6 Galactus, they really shouldve retreated once they couldnt get him out early and didnt have Nimrod out

High level bot decks get to choose their moves after you play your cards, and I think they run simulations of possible moves and just pick whichever one puts them in a win state (or as close as possible to one) for that turn, even if its a poor strategic move in the long run

I got my last one, Titania, at 3214

I was at 4500 tokens so I got that 4000 gold bundle that had 1500 tokens so I could get my Thanos. Just playing the meta deck for now to get used to the card

For Nimrod it doesn't matter. For Wolverine though since the locations are destroyed from left to right you want him in the left lane so he has a chance of getting destroyed twice, if he jumps to the other lane that's getting destroyed. Or if Galactus is going in the left lane you want him in the middle lane.

I have a pet peeve with cards showing their power in your hand and then not working in a place like Shuri's lab.

Knull shows 30 power in my hand because of destroyed cards. I play him on Shuri's lab and he gets 0 boost because his base power is 0 THEN he gets his added power.

It's the same situation with Devil Dinosaur but he doesn't show his power in your hand so at least it's intuitive.

Don't show a card's power in my hand if it's not going to work in situations like that.

the fucked thing is that if you play Mister Negative with one of these cards in your deck, in that specific situation it DOES act like the card's Ongoing total power is the base power and will switch that number to the cost. For example if you destroyed one squirrel, had knull in your deck and played Mister Negative,when you draw it instead of it being 0-cost, 6 base power plus 1 Ongoing power from the squirrel, it will be 1-cost, 6 base power plus 1 Ongoing power

Can be used in destroy decks pretty comfortably. Also pairs well with Viper, and works well in decks where your last turn is often a 5-cost card rather than a 6

The Viper combo is kinda anti-Galactus tech as well

I was actually watching some of Hoogland's stream last night when that stuff was happening and he was having the most success with a Deadpool deck that also happened to have Nimrod, and most of the wins with it were more thanks to Deadpool (when it wasn't getting discarded by Sokovia, which happened like four times somehow)

Unless theres a series 3 card Ive somehow never seen in-game, looks like the only one I have left until the next downgrades is Titania

They actually basically did a Mutant Academy 3, but it was called X-Men Next Dimension (because they added some 3D movement, hence "next dimension")

Finally got Agatha! Not sure if they're are even and halfway-decent decks with her, but it'll be fun to give her a try.

there are some okay decks with her but she's more just for fun. She is nice for boosting collector level if you have excess credits though, since any boosters you earn with her in your deck are guaranteed to go to her so you can level up the card fast

the main way to play Agatha is to get her out of your hand ASAP either through discard or through energy cheating (she will always play herself if she is able to), and in the case of discard you want either ghost rider or hela to bring her back on the board.

the best shuri deck also uses cosmo since it beats both shang chi and aero in the lane you first play the big card

on the bright side if it takes them too long to nerf her, by then she'll drop down to series 3 and only cost you 1000 tokens!

Theyre almost certainly going to nerf her but probably not so far that she becomes unusable. Maybe pin and then see how hard they hit her, but we dont know when that nerf will hit so it may be more than a month holding that pin

Starting tomorrow you will earn 50 bonus cubes the first time you reach a new rank instead of the current 10 bonus cubes. They also say there are more changes coming in the future which will be discussed next week

the extra stuff can appear in Endless World, at least

There has been no official information on whether it can be bought as an add-on to the original, but I believe one leaker has said that it is standalone only. And honestly thats also what I expect it to be.

Buying the current game for so cheap might still be worth it if youre unsure whether youd even like the game; instead of wasting 60 bucks it would only be 5.
