Oh, there's now missing posters for the cat I was asked about a week ago. He looks quite different from Cinder, so not so sure how they mistook Cinder for him. Cat has a white foot, white toes, white beard/crest.

And ofcourse these two.

Momma, the one that decided we needed more cats.

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/1/3/2/AAGh9BAAD89k.jpg

And the one we don't name, but is desperately trying to integrate. She's ear tipped and spayed, and super friendly. We have a theory she was kept inside as a pet or over socialized, and either lost her food source for an extended period or deliberately under fed, because she is seriously underweight and lacks muscle/fat. That's Mirage investigating.

Onto the second set.

Jett, in an alternate angle that shows his spots/fluff.

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/1/2/1/AAGh9BAAD89Z.jpg

Mirage, though the sun makes her look lighter it does help make the subtle differences visible.

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/1/2/2/AAGh9BAAD89a.jpg

Misty, she's the twin of Mirage with very minor differences, but has a grey undercoat. I assure you this is a different cat.

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/1/2/3/AAGh9BAAD89b.jpg

Mystic, in different lighting that more accurately portrays their black fade into brown. He cannot deny playing a part in their creation.

Ok, I would've done this yesterday, but it was a fair bit to sift through, but I feel I got reasonable images, while having a few extras, but when you're posting 10 cats that's already 10 images. I picked the ones that best showcased their features.
So here we go.

First up, is Cinder.

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/1/1/2/AAGh9BAAD89Q.jpg

Sadie, his bonded littermate. Picked one where you can see her orange nova like feature.

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/1/1/3/AAGh9BAAD89R.jpg

Sunnie, the very loud one with the perfectly split tone face, she's a blend of grey/gold.

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/1/1/4/AAGh9BAAD89S.jpg

Sofie, the original big fluffy girl.

There was also Full Spectrum Warrior that was very close to the actual training tool used by the military at the time. I recall seeing the training tool and it's basically an alpha/beta game and would probably sell for 40 on steam these days as a finished game.

As for the original question, it's because they found gamers tend to have better coordination with using displays and controllers, thus are better at using unmanned vehicles or robots, though would need training ofcourse.

Oh yeah, this also reminds me of the time I was probably a target of being recruited in a video game. It was Ghost Recon Advanced Warfare 2, and I was using proper cover/suppression etc with an lmg. Guy then started going on about how good I was at doing such techniques like bounding and etc. Then was asking if I was in the service or considering it. It was one of those moments.

Today was the first day where things seemed to be a bit closer to normal. All the cats were present and actually hung around for a bit to interact/socialize.

Misty seems to finally be coming around to letting me pet her normally, probably realizing there's worse out there than someone she's known for 13 months having to over extend to just barely stroke her head. Mirage is definitely missing Jaxx, but at least she's got her other two littermates.

As expected all the cats are too nervous/skittish to hang around the house too long, but they are together nearby in a neighbor's back yard. There's this black cat that looks 95% like Cinder that's been terrorizing them and randomly going under the house to run them out. He's very possibly the reason why Jaxx was forced out from cover and got caught. Ofcourse we'll never know the actual specific details of the incident.

Though on Sunday (27th) I was outside and this guy was with his kids looking for their cat. They asked if Cinder and Mirage were our cats due to the distance. He looks like Cinder, but with more white. Turns out their cat hadn't been seen for a few days and they were worried something happened to him. So I had to have the super uncomfortable moment of telling him about the dogs coming through here and it's unknown if they'd gotten any other cats at the time. Though we haven't seen one like that.

You really need to contact authorities about those dogs imho. Cats alone is bad but if they are a danger to cats, it's possible they will attack people or children too
We've already reached the same thought. Like I said, not really going to go into it until there's an actual outcome, so I just left it as 'may' to keep things slightly vague atm. I don't want to be the "put those dogs down" person, but the owners certainly need to be held responsible or authorities aware. Because they clearly can't control dogs with a prey drive that have killed at least twice.

They didn't finish the job with Jaxx, but they did about 85% of it, which is why we've already requested information from the clinic to support it.

And since I still have it sitting here easily accessible. Here's a flashback to when they first emerged to begin eating solid food. Jaxx is the grey on the left, and the only way to tell them apart at this point is due to the faint light spot on the top left center of his head between his ears. It's difficult to see in this, but it's there and remained. The other two are Misty and Mirage, but idk which is which.

It occured to me yesterday/earlier that I haven't really taken pictures of them for a bit, probably due to the weather/lighting and just general dealing with stuff.

So a few hours ago I took one of Jett when he was stationary enough with decent lighting. Jett and Jaxx were essentially twins, the differences being that Jaxx was a bit lighter colored, Jaxx had more stripe bias vs spot bias like Jett, and he not quite as fluffy/large, but came very close. I'll see if I can find a recentish image of Jaxx, but not sure. Should also add that Jett is currently the second largest and might even overtake Mystic in size.

Thanks.

Apparently the dogs come from an area with cats all over the place, but they come over here to kill these. Makes one wonder if they've gotten even more.

Pretty sure the only aggression Jaxx ever showed in 14 months was playful chewing on my shoes and standing up to Mystic to prevent his sisters from being randomly bullied.

The others are also already starting to notice his absence, since a few keep vocalizing for him to come and watching the direction he'd usually hang out.

I gave each of the rest a good hug, except for Misty and Mystic.

Mirage and Sunnie were the most bonded ones with him, and seem to be waiting for him. Others are freaked out, as expected.

One of the quirks that was unique to Jaxx, was that I could literally just squat down and he'd come running over to lounge under me using my foot as a prop, like I was some sort of protector. Then he'd purr up a storm. He did that ever since he was about 2 months old, not sure why. Just some odd thing he'd do only to me, now I'm gonna miss it.

*sighs*

Today was a tragic Thanksgiving here. Had to euthanize Jaxx.

He was fine, stayed around the yard, slept in a tree. At about 3 pm, two large dogs roughly labrador/boxer size from a nearby street came running through. He must have been on the front porch, but they chased him in some manner and cornered him against a fence, they hurt him bad. He had no external injuries, but clearly had internal damage that turned out to be fatal.

The people that own the dogs were seen driving around to find them, they were confronted, and the younger one pinned the fault on Jaxx for 'being a feral cat and attacking the dogs' when he actually hides from dogs/people and is a super cuddle bug to me.

He was only 14 months old, but I guess that's how it goes.

I should note this is the third time now those specific dogs have gotten loose and tried to get the cats, this time they were successful. I won't disclose, but there may be action taken as they've killed a nearby calico previously.

2002, at least from my pov.

I recall actually being excited and playing through games with minimal issue, ofcourse might have needed a guide or something, but you could usually pop down to blockbuster or whatever, rent and finish a game within the 5 days, repeat.

Now it's almost a competition to see just how little they can put onto a physical format, while somehow requiring a continent or two of your storage space. Then you might need a seperate account linked to your other account to go along with the other linked accounts. And your rewarded with either a 100 hour slogfest or a 2 hour quickie, both of which may have gamebreaking bugs rendering it futile to even bother playing, but it's ok, you can throw money at them for some sparkly shoes in a first person shooter without the ability to see your legs.

Yeah, they're super complicated little rascals.

Prefer cats, though have had a dog in the past and totally don't mind them either. My biggest issue with a dog is that it's a bit more of a responsibility, such as walking it, obedience, etc. Which is why it used to slightly annoy me when relatives would try to push a dog on me hard, which is easy for them to say since they don't have to actually deal with it.

Had a neighbor for 2 years that really shouldn't have had a dog, just to reinforce things... boxer/pitbull size, locked up in a cage for 12-15 hours a day, messed inside on the carpet constantly, ran around the neighborhood unleashed, flea infested. They even got a second dog, because they had the first one so under control. They moved, so I don't know whatever came of them.

The noob tube one man army setup, was to have an AR with an underbarrel launcher and the perk one man army. I forget the rest of the setup, probably demolition expert or something that boosted explosive damage. Either way, the concept was simple. Fire your 40mm grenades, usually 2 of them. Then use one man army to swap to another class with the same setup. It restocked your equipment, so you could fire them off again, swap back to the first to repeat until you die.

I personally enjoy underbarrel launchers in certain games due to the optional utility of flushing someone out or finishing them off around cover. Unfortunately that garbage pretty much ruined them and caused much anger, so now you pretty much can't use them in any game.

The young black and white cat seems to be going unfed, so it's tried to integrate with these. That's ok, as it's actually super friendly and while a few aren't fond of it, there's no actual issue. I can even pick it up and other stuff.

However, it's pointed to a bigger issue. It's probably hungry, because it seems to be bullied by another black cat (or whoever TNR'd them stopped caring for them). From a distance it looks like Cinder, minus the white spot. It's ear tipped, but very aggressive and always chasing or trying to fight these even outnumbered 1 to 5+. It's clearly been fighting as its face is messed up, so I have a feeling they neutered it too late for it to avoid that aggression and it's most likely hungry.

Either way it's attempting to displace these and take over the territory, so every day gotta go out there and deter it. It's already got the younger ones missing meals in fear.
