I might be alone in this, but I'm hoping season 2 is not part 2. There was a 4 or 5 year time gap between part 1 and part 2. I wouldn't mind seeing them come up with something new for the show with Joel and Ellie before getting to part 2.

Neil said he isnt adapting anything not in the games as he doesnt want to be in the situation Game of thrones was in. Hell add and detract and make changes as necessary but hes not telling entirely new stories with the show just because he can.

Idk everyone seemed to be doing fine in Part 2. There was barely any infected at all.

There were literal mobs. Only reason it appears there werent is Because we were always dealing with communities in the second. In part 1 only established community is the quarantine zone and Jackson which was just starting out and being built.

in 2 we got Jackson community thats actually flourishing and had power, wlf community in the football stadium and the scar community on the island.

Joel killed people who were running and defenseless. Marlene in particular got the drop on Joel, had the shot, chose to stop aiming at him and ask him to let her go then got shot twice for it.

That never made sense even in the game. He wouldn't "get comfortable," period. Guy's gonna get dumbed down no matter what unless the show changes how it goes down.

Joel had a girlfriend that got cut from the game cause Neil couldnt find a way for us to connect to her without making the intro bloated or forcing her in the rest of the game. He started carving wood figures in his down time that was in his house after the funeral.

Man got comfortable, he relaxed a little bit. Perfectly reasonable thing to do after 5 years.

For a child role she did great. But it makes no logical sense to have her play a 13 year old at 18 and then play a 19 year old at age 20. It wont translate well at all. They could change the time skip as well but that makes less sense also. Joel got caught because he got comfortable, hes not doing that in a year or two after everything hes done.

I think she'll be fine. I don't think Ellie is considered big and/or buff in the games, Abby is the swole one. Ellie was always like the smaller scrappy one.

But they were the same height. Im not saying get rid of Bella entirely but I do think they should cast 2, one modern Ellie and one flashback Ellie. But with Bella looking how she is, I do think she should be the flashback one.

That was never confirmed. Only reason they had a theory on Ellie is because of a cat scan showing them the brain. Its part of the reason why Joel fucked up. 20 years after the world ends how many hospitals, doctors and working cat scans are left and able to be used anymore by someone who knows how?

Bella and Pedro have already signed on for Part 2.

Bella is 20 in real life. Little make up and she is the same age as Ellie in the game. It's the reason they didn't cast Maisie Williams as Ellie originally - she was too old to last multiple seasons.

Bro shes tiny. Especially going up against grown men and Abby, shes too physically short to present herself as any kind of threat. And she was 18 when she filmed for a 13 year old character. Theres supposed to be a 5-6 year time jump for part 2, no amount of prep can make Bella look like shes grown 5 years in height between the two seasons.

I haven't seen this yet but I'll likely check it out soon now that it's done. Is a S2 confirmed? I really hope they do the (location spoilers for Part 2) Ground Zero. That whole area was so damn scary and that Infected...man.

They confirmed a few weeks ago they got another season. Theyve been saying they want to do the second game in two seasons though so theyll have to start filming soon and cast an older Ellie. Unless they really want to stick with Bella but to be honest shes too short to play an older Ellie so theyll probably use her for the flashback sequences with Joel.

heres the gameplay from the woman that killed Joel. This 43 minute episode covers the events of the last hour of the game. Again seems the only legit Cut content is the extend gunplay and shooting sections, they got every narrative point that was relevant and necessary.

and good lord I hope season 2 gives us more infected action.

Honestly, as someone that generally loves these remakes, that trailer isn't selling me on this one. And I was so excited, too, I love TLM. Ariel's acting seems meh, also wasn't fond of Triton, I didn't know Awkwafina was in this one and I'm so tired of her and the samey characters she does. Ursula seems really good though.

I'll just hit up the soundtrack and watch it on Disney+ far in the future when I'm having a really bored day.

Nah they lied and got what they deserved.

In the game they didnt know why she was immune until she got to the hospital. In the show it was the same. They didnt lie, they just didnt know they had to kill her to get a cure.

In the game he just said they had multiple immune people and nothing worked so they gave up. in the gamegame Ellie wasnt awake when she met the fireflies, she couldnt swim and jumped in some water to save Joel and was under too long. She didnt die but she was unconscious from that point until waking up in the car with Joel presumably.

He didnt say raiders stormed the place in the game, only that the doctors gave up.

That was a weird ending. How closely did this follow the game?

There was a gunplay/gameplay separating the giraffe and hospital. Actions are pretty accurate though to the game.

The lie was different though, he blamed raiders for what he did instead of saying the doctors were working with other immune people. Wouldve been an easier lie in the game for him to say just the raiders took out the one doctor they had instead of saying multiple people were immune tbh.

I make 2k per check after taxes and deductions. This month Im getting 3 checks due to Friday lining up 3 times on payday. And I get a bonus every 6 months for just under 3k, before deductions, and that helps. I aint saving much but my bills are paid and Im saving something. Car paid off too plus student loans being on pause and all. Saved up enough to clear that debt but holding onto the minuscule hope the 10k clearance still somehow goes through.

Unlimited skipping and I can pick the tracks and no One ad every 30 minutes on my free account. Now its gone and I want it back.

Theres more of that in 3 that worked better. They introduced a new way to measure influence, but options and responses werent locked out just because you were paragon or renegade.

so if you had 50/100 points in influence, you could choose either the paragon or the renegade option. But in 2 it would work like you need 50/100 in paragon to be able to choose the paragon option and 50/100 to be able to choose the renegade option.
