Probably warcraft 3. With custom games and it predating modern MMOs i think it is a good guess.

Probably Super Mario Bros 3? When you are that young and have so few things to play but run through the same routine of games repeatedly I would guess it adds up.

Stay away from the short rib special. It was good but is also way too tiny for the cost($25).

I was wondering, what are the exact differences of the Toadstool Caf menu between the Japan and Hollywood locations? Does anyone know?

I know there are some pictures of the menus floating around. A few similar items but they have a larger and very different menu.

Defunctland is amazing. Really well researched, informative videos while being entertaining at the same time. I remember when this video was new and I watched it the whole way through despite its length. Then I watched it a second time because its that good

Yeah, fastpass video is one of the greatest videos on the internet. The most wanted attraction at every theme park will forever be The Triangle. Just legendary.

The TL;DR is the old fast pass system was amazing .... for people who knew exactly the best ways of using it which were 95% of the time annual pass holders and absolutely terrible for those that didn't which were usually the once in a lifetime disney vacationers.

The new one isn't better. It is a variant of the old system except now -everyone- uses. It doesn't even include the most wanted attractions(you have to pay extra for those). And you have to pay for it. You are getting less for more and no one is saving any real time in line.

The new system is literally all the problems of the old one made worse.

Apparently Universal Japan has a deal to include Pokemon in some capacity. But nothing substantial has come from the deal.

Was looking at the Florida park the land is going in. Including the Donkey Kong expac the land will have an adjacent future expansion area where it could theoretically double in size if future plans ever present themselves.

Definitely excited to go this in orlando when it opens. My family is pretty strongly in the disney world zone, so I'll have to convince them to try this.

Disney World is somehow 10x more complicated to visit than it was 5 years ago. Despite having a few new attractions since my last visit I am very much turned off from feeling anxious to make another trip.

I will possibly splurge and go to that SNW opening too if I can make it feasible.

I remember liking them a lot as a kid. I guess they don't hold up for people who are older.

They still hold up if you can find some that arent locked to baby speed. But most good bumper car areas have been removed as the liability is too much.

F-Zero would fit better as a roller coaster anyway.

In the most no-brainer of Nintendo themed attractions, the Donkey Kong expansion will have a mine cart themed coaster.

It seems weird to me that it's called Super Nintendo Land, but they only utilize Mario series. Although maybe they'll add stuff for Zelda/Pokemon/etc later?

Super Nintendo World, but yes just Mario for now.

First expansion will be Donkey Kong launching with the Florida park. There is room for expansion at the Hollywood park and I would guess we eventually get the Donkey Kong portion as well, since all signs poing to the land being very successful.

there's a second shop we don't have (I'm pretty sure most of the items are merged into the one shop there though).

Right now there are also 4 locations carrying SNW merch outside the land(3 in the park, 1 just outside).

In the weeks before official opening it was nearly all merch made for Japan sent here in excess. Now it is almost all replaced though a few leftovers still remain.

Yeah Mario Kart does have a height requirement. Universal is really weird about restraints. The Secret Life of Pets attraction straps you in as secure as some very thrilling local coasters but is a standard flat omnimover attraction fit for all ages. Just weird all around about them.

But yeah once kids are old enough to appreciate it a bit, Mario Kart really is a "fun for all ages" attraction. Lots of happy people coming off the ride.

The footprint of the land is smaller so from what I understand it is slightly more compressed and the layout slightly changed. I hear we have an exit from the land with a bit more thought put into it. But as far as I know we are not missing anything specific from Japan.

LA should be thought of as a region, not a city.

Also all of your cities are boring i dont know how people live.

It's my fault for not being able to just stay quiet and let things ride, I just wish we had a little more active presence. I feel like we a couple times had a plan on the scum board of, "get this mislynch and win", but then I was the only one to really advocate for it, and Ben/Red were AFK and Plum was doing Plum things instead.

I know it probably seems like bad etiquette to come out after the game and disparage my scum team, so it's not my intent to say Plum or SBell or anyone played bad or anything! Just with the scum team we rolled, and Ben being very busy with work, I just felt very alone, and I was annoyed that I couldn't really get people to engage with me.

Also Isquen, I am sorry for "lecturing" at you if that is what made you walk away at that time. I actually DIDN'T want to lynch you there because I felt it would make me look bad. I just wanted you to claim so I could safely back off and you didn't, so I played the frustration angle instead. And then was absent for the end of day, and so wasn't able to Unvote you when people started voting you again.

Yeah sorry i ended up having a couple meetings pop up between what ended up being very long theme park visits pop up and i definitely considered replacing out early on. I was exhausted and nearly slept away entire days.

Red is not confirmed town because of a claimed scan. Smart scum teams target themselves for exactly that reason. Han/Chris/myself practically invented that strategy.

Whoa now that was -my- strategy.

That was way way way back in the early days where we still used things like silencer and the like. Things that would give little value to scum early but would increase town credibility.

Anyway sorry for absence was at the Nintendo Land opening yesterday(super cool). Was up at early early in the morning on little sleep cause i was super excited, rushed home for D&D in the evening(i definitely wasn't falling asleep mid session nope) then completely crashed for 12 hours.

I think i inadvertent tipped too hard that i wasnt a star spirit. I thought it was obvious after the fact anyway. It was the first thing to stand out to me about bens scan.
