I'll give it credit for being one of the handful of games that takes place in Africa at all with major African representation (including heroic ones obviously) even if it the representation wasn't the best.

Seahorses? Bonobos? Either way I doubt they value human societal values, so the question is actually a no to begin with. Transsex, yes, but not Transsexual
As in the animal societal values like those female lionesses that grew manes, mounted other females, and roared and marked their territories, all things done primarily by male lions.

There actually have been animals that acted the opposite "role" of their sex of their species (like doing male mating dances as a female) while staying the same sex. The most common method is due to brain altering parasites/viruses but I think there have been some that changed because they needed for it to happen (ie the main member died) and even some where it just happened for no reason at all and they were considered an oddity.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2023/03/09/osaka-university-scientists-create-mice-two-fathers/

Scientists say they have created mice with two fathers by producing eggs from male cells, in research that has the potential to open up radical developments for human reproduction.
The technique could pave the way to allowing two men to have children related to both fathers, and could also treat a type of infertility in women.
However, scientists said much more research would need to be done and ethical considerations made before this would be considered in humans.
Prof Katsuhiko Hayashi from Osaka University presented his findings - which are not yet published - to the International Summit on Human Genome Editing at the Francis Crick Institute in London.
The research involved creating a stem cell from a skin cell of a male mouse, and then deleting the Y chromosome and duplicating the X chromosome, allowing it to turn into an egg.
Just seven pups were born from 600 attempted implants. But these pups went on to live healthy lives, and have offspring of their own.
It is not the first time similar attempts have been made.
In 2018, scientists at the Chinese Academy of Science successfully bred mice from two fathers, but the pups were unhealthy and died after a short time.
Prof Hayashi, a world-renowned expert in the field, told the summit that he is working on developing fertility treatments.
He believes his work could potentially be available for humans in ten years.
"If people want it and if society accepts such a technology then yes, I'm for it, he told the BBC.
But he added: "Even in mice there are many problems in the quality of the egg. So before we can think of it as a fertility treatment we have to overcome these problems, which could take a long long time.

No reason not to play on casual mode in Fire Emblem. Perma-death is outdated and everyone negates it by reloading their save anyway. Why miss out on tons of dialogue and story content if you dont have to?
You actually miss out on the option of more dialogue by playing on casual mode since characters dying can give unique quotes and potentially slightly alter the dialogue of later chapters or have mourning quotes from other characters while casual mode only gives retreating quotes. Of course, most people won't let their characters die to ever see those quotes but technically Classic with rewind gives the most dialogue option if you want to check out that stuff and then reload.

Seems to be a bug where if you haven't beaten the game yet a new Maddening file will be on Random growths like Normal/Hard is but if you have beaten it before, including on Normal/Hard you can select the mode but it'll only be fixed for maddening until you beat that once.
