I love Zoe. She has skyrocketed up my personal rankings since her introduction. And Ive said it before, Scar, but Im the first campaign, I think you were a little less comfortable writing the child characters, so Zoe kinda became an extension of Deadshot. But now, most of the kids feel fully fleshed out and unique in their own right, dealing with the end of the world as best they can. Zoe is great in that regard, and I kinda want her to become friends with Courtney.

I've always had a fascination with seedier side of the Hollywood experience. Not the modernized corporate corruption that produces your power misers like Harvey Weinstein, the sort of expected end to amalgamation of power, but the old Wild West days of the original silverscreen stars, from the early silents right on through to postwar celebrity. It's in this particular era that a generation of talent was gobbled up under a few banner studios and spat out. Tales woven of murky legends like Fatty Arbuckle and the Black Dahlia were the order of the day, and to simply survive in a world run with gin and drugs and crime was a much taller order.

The Kid brought to life an opportunity to spin my take on classic Hollywood in the form of a one-shot member of the Newsboy Army, the World War II children's unit that served as collective sidekicks to the Guardian. The story of Little Miss Hollywood was one of innocence lost. As a child, she was beloved by filmgoers - and she loved them back just as strongly. But time passed, and Hollywood began to change. LMH had to fight tooth and nail to maintain her innocence as she began to develop physically - and the studios refused to see her as anything other a sexpot and a cash cow. Ultimately, LMH couldn't resist. When the Time Tailor, Zor, took a very integral part of LMH away, her life fell into ruins. She succumbed to the temptations of Hollywood, and her life slid downhill quickly. By the end of the '60s, she'd killed herself, overdosing and taking the last train out of celebrity. She died relatively forgotten, penniless and without hope.

In one of my favorite Kid tales, it was Lush who gave her a little pot and dragged Little Miss Hollywood to the spring, to experience Lush's own personal take on paradise. It... gave Little Miss Hollywood some relief. There was, for the first time in years, an opportunity to be at peace.

And when it was time, Little Miss Hollywood faded away. It wasn't a grand victory, but it was a little bit of quiet resolution. Lush's compassion really touched me in that week of Little Miss Hollywood - one California girl taking care of another, the cinema freak that Lush is using her passion for film and screen to give the proper send-off to a woman who had given everything to both the superhero business and the film industry.

Then she just faded away, as is the way with every Kid summon, in the end.

Hint: And they say people don't like tabletop RPGs that stay on-rails the whole time.

I can't decide if you're saying this as if it's a "holy shit" kind of good or an "it manages to out-awful itself continuously" kind of bad.

Its weird, because I SHOULDNT be enjoying this season as much as I am. The team I hate just won their fifth challenge, securing the team win before the final team challenge, completely lowering the stakes of the finale. Plus the boot order has been AWFUL, with all six women eliminated in only seven rounds. NO woman beat a man in elimination, despite five of the six facing one. Yet somehow, I still find it compelling, especially compared to how little of a shit I gave about season three (and how much I HATED season 2).

They have two philosophies of how to make the rich richer. Republican philosophy generally errs towards my family more while the Democrat philosophy doesn't. They both are just doing it in different ways.

With no one willing to break the two party system and look out for the interests of the poor, it's usually just choosing the lesser of two evils. Unless someone's stances or core values are enough to overtake the general difference of my families well being, it usually is a republican choice at the end of the day.

Yup. And YOU realize that corporations are legally obligated to benefit their investors above all else, right? So when theyre making record profits, that money is used on stock buybacks to boost the stock value, and the executives of the company are often compensated not by high salaries (well, comparably high salaries), but by stock options, which means those buybacks boost their net worth.

Highest corporate profits are directly related to inflation. They aren't the highest inflation adjusted corporate profits

Who gives a shit about adjustments? The fact that corporations are making billions while average people are being gouged for basic necessities is a BAD thing. And it doesnt help that so much of the current inflation problem is caused by corporate profiteering.

Why do you think that would move the needle? If you want weed legalized because it should be, fine. But if Biden outright legalizes it, the moderate Dems will think hes soft on crime, and the progressive Dems will find some other problem with the party to justify not being fully passionate about voting for the Dems.
