Make sure you select the yellow gun not the purple gun. That was my issue using the super missle.

Charge you regular yellow gun beam THEN hit the missle button

Another safeguard if your PCP isnt doing medication reconciliation and has you on multiple meds that may negatively interact with each other. Pharmacist can also explain how to apply or do the medication if its confusing

I'm glad that Metroid Prime doesn't have fast travel. Makes the world feel more lived-in. And if you mean respawning at save points, idk, only time I ever really die sometimes is in Phazon Mines. I already feel that the game is pretty easy but at least it has some semblance of challenge and consequence for death in that section.
