I would think doing well with people would be one of the pre-requisites for being a service dog.

I think in her case she wasn't implying that the dog can get violent or anything like that, just that it tends to not be friendly. Not walking over to strangers, letting them pet it. Just staying close to her side, basically.

I remember one time a military veteran came into my store with a German shepherd service dog. I knelt down and beckoned it, at which point she told me "oh, he doesn't do well with people," yet at that moment the dog walked over and let me pet him. I swear demeanor is a huge factor. Human demeanor I mean.

I've never been afraid around any breed of dog, and therefore I've never given off a scared vibe. I think that has a lot to do with it. I'm sure dogs are very good at sensing if someone remains confident in their presence, and I really think that has a huge role in how they behave.

Granted, certain dogs will just go rogue anyway. But the still never concerned me. I dunno. I mean yeah getting attacked would suck, but I'm 6'0" 200 lbs and muscular. I don't see any dog as being life threatening to me. If one did attack me, especially something like a pitbull, it better be ready for a street fight.

I'm poking eyeballs, punching ribs, kneeing stomachs, etc.

That annoys me. Literally everybody in that room notices what Buzz is doing and he gets no repercussions at the end of it.

That's because he "apologized" for it, however I'm siding with Kevin because his whole family is pretty dang stupid not to be able to pick up on Buzz's disingenuous speech oozing with mockery.

It's so exaggerated that I almost wonder if it's meant to be a child's perspective on how things are going. His family isn't actually that bad, it's just Kevin's interpretation of what's actually happening.

I think this is true at least as far as Old Man Marley and the Pigeon Lady are concerned. I think the terrifying visages (in terms of the actor's portrayal) are meant to represent how Kevin perceives them, I don't think they were actually looking at him in such a threatening manner. Then once he realizes they are nice people, we (and him) see them for who they really are.

Uncle Frank because he was an adult picking on a child.

Plus, each movie ended with Buzz and Kevin having a legit bonding moment. No such moment occurs with Uncle Frank. The closest thing is Frank exclaiming "Okay, Kevin! Alright! Merry Christmas!" At the end of part 2, which with his tone of voice comes across as disingenuous.

We all know when you consecutively jump on Goombas, Mario gets the double the point value each time. So let's say you jump on three in a row, you get 100, 200, then 400 points.

If you managed to jump on two Goombas simultaneously (which is a little tricky) they both die at the same time, and the first one gives you 100 points but the second gives you 400!

I always thought this was a neat little detail. Wonder if they decided to make the second one worth the value of a third Goomba just because stomping two at the same time is harder?
TopicWhat's the point of those guys waving wands around at orchestras?
TULPAMANCER

The conductor ensures all the performers are playing at the proper cadence. Orchestras are so large each individual musician has a good chance of drifting off tempo, which even if slight will affect the overall sound especially if several of them do this. The conductor provides every single person in the orchestra with a constant source of direction, as long as everyone pays attention and follows the tempo he sets, the work will be performed correctly -- assuming he or she is a good conductor, which is why a select few conductors have been revered over the years. You can't just stand up there and wave around a baton. You need to know music intricately.

In the original Super Mario Bros., Mario doesn't actually fight Bowser eight different times in those eight worlds. The first seven "Bowsers" that Mario encounters are decoys, and their true form can be revealed by defeating them with fireballs rather than using the axe to destroy the bridge. For instance, in World 1 the "Bowser" turns into a Goomba upon being defeated with fireballs.

The real Bowser doesn't show up until World 8.

I'll be watching it. I really enjoy the Scream films.
BTW, Hayden Panettiere is gonna be back as Kirby.
Also Courtney Cox will be in as Gale.
No Sidney, though.

And if the movie is going to have a "theme" like the other ones, I think it should be a commentary on movie franchises, since being a part 6 really launches the Scream series into that kind of status, like Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, Hellraiser, etc.

The commentary could be about how now it's just going out of control, perhaps there's no real motive at all for the killer. Just a bored millennial with nothing else to do. That'd be pretty dark.

Not sure how the plot would work but imagine seeing Marv and Harry again. Kevin could reunite with Brenda Fricker (pigeon lady) to show he hasn't forgotten her, etc.

It was at a fancy restaurant. I work at an Ace Hardware. So at the party, by the time I got my plate of food there were no more seats available. So I was getting ready to just eat my food standing up.

John Gavin (the co-owner of our franchise, along with his brother) noticed me and offered me the seat at the head of the table where he and his family were sitting. I don't think I'll ever get a bigger honor working at Ace!

Haha, getting the Roman Reigns treatment by the owner.
