Seaside Vacation Illusory Holehills Illusory Holehills may end up losing badly, but I love it SO much, more than anything else on the main setlist aside from Glacier Palace ~ Eastern Spire. That middle section, man... all those powerful modulations going on, and it's one of only a few instances where I can't help but bob my head to the unusual rhythm (at 0:44 - the brass and drums)...ah, I just can't get enough of it.... and the contrasting styles and meters in the first section has so much charm. Such an exciting final section, too. It's my 72nd favorite vgm... (this will perhaps be the last piece of vgm in this contest that's in my top 100...) What's interesting is that the game has now used all six tracks from its BOST5 setlist (and nothing else) - three in BOST5 and three in BOST6. I suppose you could say it has now accomplished exactly what Plasman intended! I'm ecstatic about Gates to Infinity's victory! I never thought it could make round 4 (granted, snubs setlists are not nearly as strong as in the main bracket). I admit that I was skeptical about Bittercold ~ Final Battle's ability to win a match, but it did a lot better than expected, so I'm glad I accepted the input from other users to put it on the setlist. I don't like Gates' chances against Samurai Showdown next round, though... That game has been dominating its matches. --- "Ah, a party! We haven't had one of those. It could be fun! Isoleucine is 47th place, Fatal Blooms is 28th place (ok, it's ranked too high--I like Isoleucine more), and UD contains IDOLA the Strange Fruits which (the original) is 22nd place in my favorite vgm list (granted, I like the original far more than this medley-ized version). Second match is tough, because the sound quality of One Who Bares Fangs is better than most other tracks in Xenogears....its exceptional in setting its mood. --- "Ah, a party! Yes, a lot of us had that problem during nominations, but with actual matches, all you have to do is to save the track to a playlist whenever you come across one you like....
