Honestly, nothing until it outright became a genre. I hated how the first Dark Souls felt, clunky and slow, but I could appreciate the game's design and I even loved Nioh when that came out.

The problem is that it's existence pretty much outright killed the character action games like DMC and Ninja Gaiden. Devil May Cry 5 was literally the only game of its type that we got throughout the entire last generation, where every single other game that came out that had a claim of any kind to the action genre, was a freaking soulslike.

And then it's expanded to things like Wulong, where a game in that setting should appeal to me. The problem is the Soulslike core genre doesn't lend itself well to that setting at all. Armies were massive during that period and even platoons weren't going to be particularly small at all. Yet, here you are fighting lone peons or small groups(usually no larger than 5 at a time at most) for the majority of the combat, because that's the nature of these games and how they're designed.

Soulslike is fine on its own, but it's irreparably fucked the industry.

I usually hate the rogue like genre but Hades was an exception since there is progression as opposed to starting fresh each run making everything you do pointless since it doesn't carry over to future runs like most other games in the genre

Also it's a fantastic game as well

Yahtzee's runniing joke is he will nitpick every game he plays, even games he thinks are outstanding he will still nitpick and make a few jokes about the game.

His reviews are also never fully comprehensive he will talk about the game in general but not give a typical review. So again he is a joke reviewer it would be like claiming AVGN is a video game reviewer when he also rips on games for laughs. Yes, at the end of a review Yahtzee usually gives some general statement about if he liked the game or not but that is not the main point of the review.

I watch Dunkey's and Yatzee's videos because they are funny and relatively entertaining.
But holy hell do I absolutely disagree w/ their tastes in games.
Dunkey especially does seem like he intentionally goes after JRPGs more harshly than other genres, just to be a troll, and it is pretty annoying sometimes.

Don't know much about his fan base, I just casually watch his videos sometimes, and any time I scroll through the comments they're like 90% vanilla boring memes, like tweaks on "Morbin all over the place", "this is one of the games of all time", references to Gex, etc...

Still Netflix stood by him. He could have discussed with the writers if he truly cared. He was in season 2 which was not faithful.

No clue, but I'm assuming there was nothing too incriminating or Trump and Rudy would have gone after it a lot harder. Given the questionable chain of custody at this point I think it is largely useless for any kind of investigation anyway, but I think the one question the Republicans will still push on is what happened to the original laptop after the FBI took it.

Yeah it looks like the same kids movie I've seen 20 times with a Mario skin on it, they have the formula down so that they don't get any negative reviews but it's otherwise pretty bland.

My bitch with tye durability thing is it has this psychological effect on some players myself included. You find a weapon that's better than anything you've found so far. So you never use it. That and it made me avoid combat unless I knew I'd get something out of it
