"Its merely going to ask whether they feel they can express their political viewpoints and opinions in their college classrooms," Etters said. "The idea is to get at Do they feel safe expressing their own viewpoint in college?"

Sen. Ray Rodrigues, the Republican who sponsored the bill, pointed PolitiFact to similar surveys at the University of Colorado and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill that he said inspired the Florida legislation.
The Colorado survey asked respondents about their political affiliation and political philosophy, and the North Carolina survey asked respondents about their political leanings. Both universities said the results were anonymous. North Carolina also encouraged students to take the survey with a $10 gift card.

A researcher for the Florida Education Association told the Miami Herald in April that she worried it would "force a fearful self-consciousness that is not as much about learning and debate as about appearances and playing into an outside audience."The Tampa Bay Times reported that, speaking about the survey, DeSantis and Rodrigues "suggested that budget cuts could be looming if universities and colleges are found to be indoctrinating students."

Maybe read your own link, alt. "Well the government of Florida assures it's all fine" lol
I did read it, and it completely falsifies the claims made in the Salon article. Hence why they went with "False", and not even with partially true.

Salon's claim has 3 key components - that it would involve a) registration with the state b) be non-anonymous and c) be required of all professors and students, and all three claims are 100% false.

It's aimed only at public colleges, who would send surveys to willing participants who remain anonymous. This seems to be basic public policy research, and if they extend the scope beyond that they'll likely get sued because that wider scope isn't anywhere in the text of the law.

This is from June of last year. Did anything come of it?

Proven false two days after that article went live, and yet we have 40+ posts in this thread with nobody other than you even bothering to ask. Everyone should be more like PoopPotato and think before leaping at outrage-bait.

https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2021/jun/25/viral-image/new-florida-law-requires-public-universities-surve/

This is why nobody takes Salon (or the myriad rags that re-circulated this story) seriously.

Not very high, like 24. But I have so much armor it usually doesn't matter, until now.

I have the entire Radahn set equipped while still being Medium
Oh yeah, I would definitely bump that up. Vigor gains are actually at their absolute highest from 25-40, you'll go from 769 HP at 24 vig to 1450 HP at 40.

FWIW I don't think I ever took vigor above 30 in the previous games, even for NG+, but with elden ring I felt like 50-60 was necessary for melee after Leyndell.

What's your vigor at, TC? That seems to be the make-or-break for endgame difficulty, with weapon upgrades being a close second.

Dark Souls II should be regarded as Demon Souls 2, it's wonderful in that regard.

Huh, can't say I've heard that before but I don't disagree. I'm curious to know why you think so?

On topic, DS3 or Elden Ring are both good entry points, lots of QoL features but they still capture the same positives of the earlier entries. DS2 and Bloodborne both feel pretty different from the rest, and DS1/Demon's Souls are fantastic but definitely feel like a harsher place to start.

Elden Ring for me. BOTW still has the better traversal/climbing and I love the mood it has, but I'm a souls diehard so having that kind of combat & dungeon design in an open world is like a dream come true.

Tbh though, I don't think BOTW as we know it would exist without Dark Souls, and likewise Elden Ring wouldn't exist without BOTW.
