If the American heart association was caught embezzling money I could give money to a different organization that helps fund research for heart disease. So I think this poll was very poorly worded. Because it doesn't say whether it is the movement or the organization. I don't see how anybody could be against the police using less excessive force. |

Yes, it will be uncomfortable but being upfront will be much better than weaseling out day of. I manage a restaurant and if a server did that I would be pissed but I wouldn't fire them. I'd document in case it happens again (chronic) absence. But who knows, if you have a job where the whole process comes to a halt if you aren't there it might be different. |

They have things that come up in their lives. Unless you are just a replaceable cog your job will suck it up and work around you not being there. I would brag about it when you return though. |
