Outside of Moscow and St. Petersburg, the rest of Russia is like a third world country. Russia has way less to loose in a full on nuclear war. In a way, he would be bringing the rest of the world down to his level.

Call me cynical, but I totally think he would do it. Im just hoping he and his inner circle get assassinated before then.

Russia is lying to it's country about "de-Nazifying" a friendly, democratic country. Putin has brainwashed his people similar to North Korea and Iran. That's propaganda.

Ukrain is putting a positive spin on news reports and using disinformation to confuse the Orcish invaders in an attempt to win a defensive war. Is that also propaganda?

Can we really compare the two?

I just don't understand how we can have a conflict like this where there couldnt be any more of a stark divide between the "good guys" and the "evil empire" and you still have shills saying we need to sympathize with Russia. "But, but, BOTH sides spread propaganda!!". Fuck off with that.

We all know why they invaded, and they range from kidnapping Ukrainians to bolster their falling birthrate, conquering resource-rich land, and trying to weaken the evil "West". The same West that rich Oligarchs love to trade with, go on vacation, and send their kids to school to.

Oh yeah, I have this album. People who write off Captain Beefheart after hearing "Trout Mask Replica" need to hear this debut album of theirs. It's basic blues rock with an eccentric twist. If it wasn't so weird it might of had some commercial success. And compared to a lot of 60s music, it isn't *that* weird. Some catchy songs on that record. Yellow Brick Road, Abba Zabba, Plastic Factory, Zig Zag Wonderer...

Which should be totally fine. The point is equality and consent. Anyone should be free to choose whatever they want so long as it hurts no one else.

My wife is pretty progressive but it's weird how those "traditional gender" roles just fall in to place sometimes. Is it cultural or maybe just random chance? For example, I *always* drive when we take a family trip or even a quick run to the store. She does all the laundry because I space out and fumble around with all the different clothes piled up on the couch. I kill all the bugs and she screams at all the bugs. I do the yard work, she takes care of the kids and the dogs. I fix things around the house including changing furnace filters, light bulbs, hanging pictures, installing new light fixtures, etc.... She takes care of the finances including doing our taxes and managing the family checking account.

One thing I do is take care of the kitchen. Traditionally, people associate that with a "woman's role", but I don't think that's the case anymore. Men are chefs and masters of the grill all the time these days.

It's easy... but when I was playing it I felt like the combat wasn't really the point of the game. It was more about exploring, trying new things, and just enjoying the crazy and interesting world. The art direction, story telling, and music are all top tier.

My only gripe was that the whole mana system where different artifacts change the levels of mana is overly complex and not explained very well. However, you can pretty much ignore it and the game will unfold differently every time. You can try to min/max the placement of the artifacts to get EVERY side quest but whatever.

This is why I've been playing more NES lately. The SNES library has a huge disparity in quality games. You have maybe 20-30 masterpieces and maybe 100 decent, fun games. After that, it's all shovelware and sports titles.

You could probably say the same about the NES but I'm always picking up carts at my local vintage game store and finding fun little games. I just bought Wall Street Kid last weekend and had fun figuring it out. I also picked up Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and I can't wait to play it and see how bad it really is.

Great (but flawed) game. I saw that video last week and it was fascinating that the author provides game genie codes to alter the swimming mechanics to make it easier.

He even has several codes that, when combined, changes the hitbboxes of the turtles to make the seaweed section more manageable.

I mean, if you know where the bombs are it's not hard anyway. This game rapidly scales up in challenge *after* the dam, like everyone's saying.
