Lots of anime exposure starting in the 80s and also the Mexican spanish dub of all the Dragon Ball series is high quality. The dialogue is way less cringe/goofy and they also avoid slang/colloquialisms that funimation likes to tack on in the english dub.

Aladdin on Genesis is like a watered down Earthworm Jim. Snes is like Super Ghouls n Ghosts but not as interesting. Both are decent just not that great.

I still vividly remember walking into Costco back in 93 as a kid and watching a group of people huddled around a tv in the electronics area. Some kid was playing Aladdin on Genesis and it was jaw dropping how good the graphics and animation were. Looking back it was I guess the closest thing to a DKC moment for Genesis owners.
