Doman restoration is also something you can do but its passive. Its not something you can grind out itll take two ish months? I cant remember. It takes a long time though because you are capped with the amount you can progress it per week.

The hilarious thing is that the coils of bahamut arent on your list and theyre incredibly important story wise.

Aside from the above run any blue quests that meet your fancy. Lots of cool dungeons and such hidden behind blue quests.

Ignore relic weapons of any kind until done with msq. Ignore field exploration zones like bozja and eureka until done with msq. These were end game portions for each of the expansions. Like the idea was you would finish stormblood and you could farm in eureka slowly while waiting for shadowbringers. Same with Bozja/Zadnor. Theyre cool, and definitely worth doing, but finish msq first.

Yeah 100% do every raid and trial, Hildibrand too since that will be required soon anyway.

i heard that bozja and eureka are not as bad as the earlier relics. but i guess that doesnt mean not as long...

i was just afraid of missing possible context in the msq and all that, or running into characters and they are all like "who are ye" when i should know them

like i couldnt imagine how much that one reveal in shadowbringers would suck without having done the crystal tower first, back when that was possible

The anima and zodiac weapon references are so insanely small Id call them non existent. Eureka and Bozja do come up but you are going to have a really long grind ahead of you. Like you straight up will not be able to progress in either zone after this week because both will be dead with 6.2 coming out for at least a month or so.

Its just unnecessary? Whoever told you to do old relics is trolling you. Theyre just for glamour now and the story bits are almost irrelevant.

If you decide to do Eureka get ready for at least 100 hours of grinding fyi if not more.

Yeah I would cut that down severely.

The small tiny bit of added dialogue is not worth the hundreds of extra hours of grinding you are adding.

Bozja and Eureka are going to take you hundreds of hours each possibly. I recommend not doing them. And no clue why someone told you to do old relics.

Priority for ffxiv is msq msq msq. For expansions I would finish the expansion msq, then do the trials, the 8 man raids and the 24 man raids. Skip the relics and the exploration zones for now. Go back later, its not worth it.

Any reason why you are stressing out about old relic weapons? I wouldnt even touch eureka unless youve finished msq (Like beaten endwalker)
