The lady who called to report it came out of her house when the police arrived and immediately and clearly said she made a mistake and that she knew the pastor and he wasn't doing anything he wasn't asked to do.

I wonder if she realized she could have gotten that man killed by cops.

I'm not saying all cops are power tripping assholes who would take any excuse to kill a minority but... let's just say those guys do still exist on the force and you can't exactly pick who is dispatched to a particular situation.

I mean, there are people in this world who will feed your pets poisoned food in the hopes of killing them because they hate you, it's not out of the question that someone might try to poison your flowers by watering them with weed killer.

Though yeah, the rest of the story makes them look pretty bad in general.

The bodycam footage shows the guy holding a regular garden hose. So that's not much of a concern.

tl; dr: White woman calls police due to "suspicious" person in neighbor's yard. Police arrive, caller immediately identifies man watering flowers as neighbor she knows is supposed to be there and apologizes . Police arrest man anyway for not showing ID despite him identifying himself and not being in a public place.

Criminals go out and water strangers' flowers in broad daylight to get their jollies?

And I never got the whole "badge of honor" thing. They're just a part of the aging process, just like wrinkles. We don't call new wrinkles a "badge of honor", so why the gray hair?

Wrinkles and scars too! I've had women tell me I've gotten more attractive with aging.

I understand that. Look at Marisa Tomei. She's much more attractive now than she was in her 20s. Wrinkles look good on her

I got my 1st gray hair when I was 17.

I understand wanting to cover premature graying.

But I think nobody should be trying to cover grey hair after 30. You ain't a kid no more.

I'm over 40 and I have grey hair and I'm still as bad as I wanna be (which ain't much but still...)

As far as I'm concerned, I EARNED that grey hair. It is a badge and testament to my life experience.

I understand people who want to keep their hair and don't want to bald. But grey is like a badge of honor.
