I honestly think you have to give co-standout character to Murdock and Fisk. They are both so perfect in this show. This is my favorite season of any show Ive ever seen.

Lots of people have tried to do the parallel hero and villain before, but Ive never seen it pulled off so wonderfully as it is here. They really are two sides of the same coin, and watching them diverge and the reasons they do so is very fulfilling. The writers also weave a deep thematic religious subtext extremely well. This show is so rich and ripe for literary analysis.

I understand giving the Hallway fight the best scene, but shoutout to my personal favorite, Fisks monologue in the back of the truck in the final episode right before the final showdown. Legitimately chilling.

While the Bucky/Falcon dynamic is great even at this early stage, my one issue in this movie is Buckys quick transition to quipping along with Sam in the airport scene. Maybe Spidey brought it out with his banter? I just wasnt ready to accept non-serious Winter Soldier yet

My only issue with Ant-Man is how they set up the internal logic of how you still have the same mass when shrunk but then completely disregard it half the time

I get it, they HAVE to have Iron Man, but I think the movie works better if hes out of the hero game, just working with SHIELD to desperately brainstorm how to make the Iron Legion as viable as he was in the suit

Then the Avengers bring in Lokis staff and it proceeds from there

I wouldnt call Loki a villain in Thor 2. Hes the deuteragonist, or the antihero

I love GotG but my biggest gripe is that Gamora is underdeveloped. You could remove her from the plot and really not lose a lot. Honestly her biggest contribution is her effect on the much more interesting Nebula

For the second phase of Thunderblight when he drops the metal spikes and then shocks them, youre supposed to magnesis one of them close enough to him so that he shocks himself

Did you ever learn that if you let a Rock Octorok suck up a rusty weapon, theyll spit it back out as the normal version? Its almost pointless but its a neat trick

I think Ruta is the best fight in part because you and Sidon feel like a real team. You both offer necessary components to take down the Beast

For Medoh you just need transportation, from there you could have soloed it

For Naboris you can actually pretty easily survive all the lightning strikes, no need for help at all

For Rudania, yeah Yunobo is a convenient cannonball, but hes not the only thing that could possibly be used as one.

But Link would not be able to continue to strike at Rutas weak points without Sidon in the fight with you

I forget, did you realize you could shatter Rutas ice with Cryonis? Ive seen people not realize it until deep in the fight or after and its always a hilarious reaction

What you are supposed to do when it rains is find an overhang where you can start a fire and rest until the rain goes away

But finding shelter is tough sometimes!

My solution would be that the set bonus for the Climbing Gear makes it ignore rain

Aonuma tried to justify the rain, trying to say it was realistic because rain ruins your day in real life too

But IIRC someone did some research and testing and if it rained anywhere IRL as much as it rains in BotW, the entire land would be flooded

To me, the fun of koroks is the pleasant surprise of spotting one out of the corner of your eye. So to me, intentionally hunting for them is the opposite of the fun part. Same with wearing the mask, which literally spoils the surprise of them, since it warns you "HEY korok nearby! look for it!"

In case youre wondering, if you go to Ganon without completing the Divine Beasts, you have a boss rush of all the Blights you havent killed before he comes down from his sac

One other thing I would suggest you do for lore purposes is find the Kings secret room in the castle library

When you beat the last Shrine, youll get a message from the monks saying they left you a gift at the Forgotten Temple. Its a cool bonus but you definitely dont have to interrupt your run to go get it if you dont want to.

After youve beaten the game, here are the things that change in the world:
Kilton will now give you medals for beating every Hinox, every Talus, and every Molduga (which will now have stars by their names when you encounter them if youve already beaten them)
The quest logs will have completion counters at the bottom of each list
The map screen will show your overall percentage towards completion. It includes Korok seeds so I doubt youll be getting 100% <_<

To get the full ending you have to turn in the lost memories quest to Impa and then go do one more thing

Its not a huge improvement but it is better

Well first youll have to get that last memory and go turn those in <_<

I think theres an NPC at a nearby stable who originally starts the quest and you have to turn it in to him even if you never met him before you went to the Spring

Silent Swordswomen is started by a Gerudo soldier at one of the Gerudo Town exits

Fragmented Monument is along the coast east of Lurelin Village

I think Test of Will is in Gerudo Valley

Into the Vortex is the spiral peninsula on the east side of the map

Yeah its a subconscious thing. You as a consumer dont think about all the design choices that went into why it is the way that it is, but the mock-ups of BotW with a stamina bar show very well just how much we would miss the wheel

You did that ice block puzzle the intended way

The easier way is just to toss it through some of the trickier flames. It can survive a little heat

And of course Urbosas Fury would have been immensely helpful in the stealth section, but you need to beat it to get it <_<

You could probably also kite them around with bombs

Hints for that stealth room:

Going up to the rafters is the easy path. Plus youll find their secret stash

Also you can set fire to one of the banners on the right side for a lucrative secret path

IIRC the Goron implies that other races cant tell Goron men and women apart.

If you get the chance, try to attend the classroom where theyre teaching each other how to attract a man. Its good stuff

Great way to get wood is to go behind the stable near Rito village and just go crazy bombing every log and tree

I feel like sometimes its easier to get a bug to fly back outside than to squash it <_<

I guess I have psychopathic tendencies them because I enjoy when I get the chance to; for example, put a live bug in the toilet and then flush it

Well morals definitely arent real, in that sense. Rational creatures collectively define morality whole cloth.

That last paragraph makes total sense. I obviously disagree, but there are plenty of other laws I disagree with.

I originally asked for the logic behind the laws, and I guess the logic is people value animals not having to feel unnecessary pain more than they value whatever psychological or material gain the person/people causing the pain are getting from it

you say pain is bad but that implies a universal morality outside of the rights we grant as a society. Where does the concept that pain is bad come from if you dont believe in natural rights?
