I find it upsetting that the White Magic role was designed around the healer just healing, but parties have always expected you to contribute whatever minuscule damage you can to make the raid go that much faster. If I wanted to do both offense and defense, I'd be a Red Mage. Pure DPS? Black Mage. It's not that I can't do DPS, it's just that I really love healing people and focusing purely on keeping the party safe and helping out if newbies are running dungeons I know.

It's the primary reason I dropped FFXIV.

Yeah Ive seen more than a few people out off by how damage focused healing is in FF. I can understand it being polarizing as much as I like it.

Managed to survive long enough to get my boy on the field against traptrix and they tried 3 different times to get rid of him that all failed. Tried to blow him up as he hit the board, with a traptrix effect next turn, and then their last turn they went into access code talker which also didnt work lmao. They had enough attack to destroy him and then surrendered right after killing him.

Also speaking of Im trying to make a decent N/R deck with Adamancipators and it turns out its kinda uh, mediocre.

Basically just a mash of okay rock monsters with seeker and analyzer

I'm officially going to add Adamancipators right below Drytrons on the list of decks that I will always immediately scoop against once I see someone playing them. My opponent made his board with 6 negates (a 4-material Apollousa, a Borreload Savage, and a Koaki Meiru Guardian) on turn 1, then I used two Lava Golems to clear his entire board and summoned Eldlich with his effect to attack over one of them. Even after clearing his entire board of all those negates and leaving him with only the one Lava Golem and nothing else in his hand or field, he still had enough recursion effects to summon Accesscode and (using my Eldlich as material) Underworld Goddess of the Closed World to OTK me.

So fuck that deck and fuck Block Dragon in particular.

Its this weird thing where it wraps around to feeling fake and forced with how uwu positive people act.

WoW players are also the go to boogeyman and its kinda funny how quickly people jump to that.
