Just so I understand correctly, the PS5 is fully backwards compatible? Or are there some exceptions.

It will occasionally give warnings about something not being fully tested, but I've only ever encountered one minor screen-tearing problem which didn't occur on PS4. (It was in the original version of a game that also has a remaster available for the same system, which I suppose is a bad sign for motivation on patching the original.)

Yeah, but is the controller more reliable? Because I don't want to have to keep buying a new one at least once a year.

Honestly I'd say the controller is less reliable; I had to sent mine in for a warranty repair on the spring for the L2 button, and I've never had a problem with a PS4 controller over quite a few years of using them. Personally, I also prefer the PS4 controller ergonomically, mainly because it's smaller and lighter and I've never liked vibration or other feedback like that anyway (I turn it off at the console level, which both the PS4 and PS5 allow).

I'd say most of what I play on my PS5 is still upgraded PS4 games (some with native PS5 versions and some not); the improved load times are definitely noticeable for some games and it can be pretty nice, but if it's in question it's probably not worth the price difference.
TopicIs there any game that has time travel AND parallel universes?

I'm not sure if you'd count the 'alternate universe' parts as separate enough from the time travel, but other than that I'd say Life is Strange does. It's pretty much the whole main conceit of the game. (Though the more serious alternate-universe-type stuff is mainly in the end of Episode 3/start of Episode 4 and part of the endgame sequence.)

One of the things to keep in mind when fitting this together is that with the society we have, on average having sex with someone you don't know very well, or meeting them in ways that may or may not lead to sex, is significantly safer for straight men than it is for straight women. Thus, straight men are more willing on average to engage in these activities, not because of something to do with anyone's difference in sex drive, but due to a difference in the calculation of risk.

Where was that outrage during any of the topics asking how gay men could capture the hearts of straight men? Or over the string of topics asking whether straight men would turn homosexual if certain conditions were met? >_>

One of the big notable differences, without getting into more complicated societal issues, is that there's a different level of consideration involved. The way things are now, people tend to think their kids, or other people they meet, or often themselves are straight by default. So, a straight person might not have actually thought about it that much before, while someone who's a non-default orientation inevitably has thought about it. And if you try to bring it up like they haven't, you sound silly, kind of like the sorts of preachers acting like they might actually talk to someone in the US who's never heard of Christianity before.

For the other societal answer: instances of someone trying to forcibly 'change' the orientation of a straight person are extremely rare, while instances of someone trying to do the same thing to a person with another orientation are unfortunately common. The more it looks like you might be likely to try anything like that to someone, the more likely they'll be to want less or nothing to do with you for understandable safety reasons.
