Adding to my point in post #24

The Android saga would have made MUCH more sense if it came AFTER the Saiyan saga but BEFORE the Frieza saga.

This would mean that:

1. Everything is the same up to the point where Goku has his beam struggle battle with Vegeta.
2. Once Vegeta flies off in his spaceship, Bulmas father needs time to study the technology and make the spaceship to go to Namek.
3. The Z-Warriors have to train for a couple years before they can travel through space to get the new dragon balls to wish back Piccolo who was killed by Nappa.
4. During this period of training, Future Trunks comes back to warn Goku and the rest of the gang that the Androids are coming.
5. Goku and Gohan train together for years to fight the androids.
6. After years of training and preparation, Goku + Gohan are evenly matched or slightly better than the Androids, but then Cell appears, absorbs them and becomes stronger than Goku + Gohan.
7. Cell games happen, Goku + Gohan use the hyperbolic time chamber to get another year of training together and they end up defeating cell with a true Father / Son Kamehameha wave.
8. Once Cell is defeated, they travel to Namek to fight Frieza and his army who are even more powerful than the Androids and Cell from Earth.

This would have made A LOT more sense.

Would anyone have gone super saiyan during this time? Or would that have still been reserved for frieza?

Her comparative rankings in men's vs women's competition is all the proof you need. When you jump hundreds of positions, that's the writing on the wall.

Now, I will concede that Lia is in an unfair position herself now because after the years of hormonal replacement therapy she is not nearly going to be any kind of competition for the men, and is now not allowed to compete against cis women.

So I do believe that an open competition category is the fairest compromise.

However, it needs to be dealt with sincerity, and not just have an open category "freak show" as some call it, just to placate rights activists. It's not right to say "you can't do this, but you can do this, but no one's really going to care about that."

We have women's sports as a result of lawsuits and other legal cases pointing out that women were discriminated against and banned from all sports leagues. Jesus, people make up shit about women not even being able to match men when some early women in racing sports won and then got banned by new rules against women competing.

Fucking horrible logic. And you misinterpreted the Lia Thomas case if you think she did dramatically better post transition because she's trans. She had to work way harder to regain any of the time she had lost. She was at the top of the league with several wins pre transition. Yet she's not dominating post transition, only sometimes winning and the day she won one big race in the women's meet she also lost badly in another event.

I think you are making the mistake that we are saying that these athletes are transitioning to win these events. I do not believe anyone is saying that. All we are saying is that a transwoman has an advantage over a non trans woman
