"it's not our problem" or "who cares they're rich" or "we always knew they were crazy" responses as a way of avoiding the situation entirely. the entire world is watching a man be manipulated and controlled in what is clearly a toxic relationship. but it's not anyone's problem? is that the lesson we're teaching each other? turn a blind eye? "if he's not man enough to deal with the situation then too bad for him"? why doesn't he leave the relationship? does he not see how clearly he's being manipulated? isn't it unhealthy for this person to be in this situation? but most are too afraid to approach it, to talk about it, question it. is this type of manipulation ok, then, by our standards? not our problem...until we deal with it ourselves, and then, still not anyone else's problem right? this type of thing should just be allowed because it's no one's business? --- Disclaimer: There's a good chance the above post could be sarcasm.
