Endwalkers problem was that the pacing was pretty off at times. Came close to Shadowbringers but missed it by just a bit.

Armors defensive stats are negligible it seems. The only things to consider are weight for the roll of your preference, and if you want something for a certain resistance like the mushroom set for poison/rot.

Basically fashion it up.

Wasn't there a scene in the first trailer where the guy is talking to the party, then listens to limp bizkit on his phone for a few seconds for dramatic effect?

Not just that, but the scene cuts to them all outside and continue the conversation there so the implication is they literally walked out of the castle listening to limp bizkit to start talking again.

The archons are going to team up with Tsaritsa to fight Celestia. Simple as that.

I wanna see the stare down between the archons and traveller vs the Heavenly Principles, and suddenly the pyro archon comes from off screen with a flying haymaker.

Definitely a dark moment when everyone else is just having fun, but bartenders learn a lot from their patrons, especially if theyre regulars.

Huh, I think some sidequests can change your characters appearance. I had gold eyes at the start, now the eyes and eye whites are red.

really, really, REALLY poor scripts for english dubbing. Are japanese scripts equally as cringey? or is it lost in translation?

Western/european theater and kabuki theater developed a lot of differences that dont mesh, and a lot of the studios push for borderline 1 to 1 translations which makes english dubs sound super weird or spoken in a way that makes you go Who the hell talks like that?

So I've always mained a straight sword in Dark/Demon's Souls, and I used a lordsworn straight sword pretty much up until I got Blaidd's ultra greatsword. Partly because I went in blind and couldn't find a better straight sword, but after just being incredibly disappointed with its damage at +15, I looked up straight swords and just didn't see anything I felt like using.

Well, I was today years old, and also level 130, when I learned that the crazy death beam spell I keep seeing people use, is in fact, not a spell, but the skill of a mf'ing straight sword. I immediately +9'ed the sword of night and flame and rebirthed. I gotta get used to using the skill, but god damn does it feel good to have a weapon that doesn't take a year to swing or hit like a wet noodle in my hands again.

The beam has very little verticality, and requires the target to stay in the beam. The flame sweep deletes bosses.

Pfft. If you have the gain fp on kills talisman equipped and view any bloodstain with Torrent dying, you get fp every time you watch it.

The blood birds in the blood swamp will haunt me. They do so much damage and are so fucking fast.

Edit: also is it safe to +10 a somber weapon if the stats go up but the guard stability thing goes down? I know theres a bug with mac upgrades killing scaling atm.

Rocking Sword of Night and Flame with the mimic tear turns the games bullshit sections on its head. Its beautiful.

Misbegotten Warrior + Crucible Knight might be the worst encounter this company has ever put out since Demon's Souls. Somebody from DS2 had the reigns on this side content and they fucking screwed it. Nearly every double/triple boss is a huge blemish on this game.

The reward doesnt justify a garbage boss that doesnt feel like it was tested at all.

Pebble, stars, arc, and rock sling will be your bread and butter.

Whats supposed to be fun or rewarding about Radahn? Theres nothing even remotely good about this.

God I wish I could hide my helmet like in the demons souls remake.

Turtle shields good if you can accept its a turtle shell and looks out of place.

XV legitimately got me going. It was brilliant to use the photo system that way. How it recapped our whole journey and all that...man, I got some chills just thinking about it. Too bad the rest of the story was so bare-bones leading up to it.

It was a good idea, but I almost died laughing when one of my options was the underside of a stair for some reason.

Itll trend down until the next holiday and explode again.

Ive never encountered an enemy archetype in any game that infuriates me more than the Crucible Knights. And theres theres a fight with TWO of them at once.

I play on ps5 so the joystick makes her totems super easy to place, but I can see how itd be iffy on mobile and pc.

As good as it looks on paper, with the problems I've had using her, she's going to need some fundamental design fixes before I'm willing to spend any money at all on her.

Shes clunky for sure and needs some tuning, but I adore her and love having a turret factory that doesnt break, and shes more in line with my playstyle of quickswapping units.

Id swap her out with Albedo more if his flower didnt break so often.

Still trying for her c2, though with my roll history Ill have to wait for her rerun.
