I've thought MZero was scum since D2 but I like to think an autoblocker/role thief split seems appropriate and if we lynch the role thief it's better for town.

Honestly there isn't one, I've been playing terribly and what I thought was my best read was on chang and then that went out the window when he flipped town. But gun to my head, my questions to Kirby when he gladiated?

That's a fair point on Lea offering herself up quite frankly but you'll note that I never said that's why I think Lea's scum. I think Lea's scum because of the interaction with red's role and more recently I give credence to the auto-roleblock theory. I had Lea squarely in my ??? category on Day 3/4 (I think) while all of that was going on. Anyways if you look at my 'process of elimination' chart up above listing MZero/Lea/VA as possible scumspects assuming all of the above are town, there really isn't another conclusion for me to come to.

I of course have the benefit of knowing that I'm town, which you don't, but I still appreciate your point. I hope this is all useful info when I'm dead.

I don't have my vote on anyone at the moment but I'm prepared to vote MZero/Lea. I was hoping for some consolidation on one but I don't think I'll have that luxury.

Chris, I'll offer up a bunch of wine in front of you and put out a counter-argument to why I'm scum. Would a scum member essentially offer themselves up as a lynch target by claiming hated townie? I'm acknowledging how anti-town my role is and accepting that it's not a bad decision to lynch me. While I do want to defend myself, I am prepared to accept my fate with no malice because my role is so anti-town. Would a scum member come in and throw themselves on the sword like that?

I am always wary of slips, they aren't that great. What makes me concerned is how you masterfully avoided discussing in any real sense ben, sheep, or isquen day 1 when there was plenty of opportunity provided to discuss all 3 at various points. I made sure of it.

I avoided discussing them because I didn't have anything else to add - a lot of those conversations had prior game context iirc and I had a hard time parsing a lot of of it (hence me asking for clarification on Sheep D1). And as I told plum when he brought up my walls of text, I was trying to come up with my own separate reads and help add to the conversation that way.

Lmao I'm so fucking bad at this game. I don't think anything I say will convince you guys that I didn't have a perspective slip there but it's pretty clear that I was just operating on the assumption it's a 5 man team. If it's a 6 man team then we're in a far worse situation and it makes even more sense for me to die today from a hated townie perspective. I was just following Kirby's logic that I'm not the role thief and if there's a 5 man team and we lynch the scum that's not the role thief. I could argue that I thought there was an independent still, but honestly I wasn't thinking that at the time when I made that 'slip' so I won't.

I kind of deserve the lynch for such a blatant fuckup but when I flip you'll all be thinking 'damn jc you're terrible at this game' instead of patting yourselves on the back for catching a slip.

Claiming power when I'm not power just results in baseless role speculation and the risk of exposing another town member who might counterclaim. I was already tracked nowhere for a night anyways. I figured sharing the truth would be helpful because it allows town to deal with my anti-town role as a known quantity. Maybe I wasn't creative enough in my thinking, and/or I'm just bad.

I was kind of hoping that I would get shot but as the game went on that got increasingly less likely. As soon as I claim Hated Townie scum has incentive to keep me alive, and it would have essentially hijacked the discussion for the day as it has today.

This is the logical play. I seriously doubt Han put a bastard role in a game this hyped, that he worked on for this long.

You'd be surprised because that is unfortunately my actual role but I don't disagree with lynching me as an objectively sound course of action to resolve ambiguity and get my role out of the game as I've mentioned.

However as I know that I'm town I have to insist that people lynch MZero/Lea, or possibly VA since he remains an unknown quantity. If either of MZero/Lea is lynched and is scum that isn't the role thief, then that clears me, and we're in a much stronger position informationally. I think you guys should listen to Kirby on that front. There's something to be gained by keeping me alive until at least next day because I can't possibly be the power role we're hunting.

I'm also inclined to give some credence to red's crackpot theory that Lea could be an auto-roleblocker because we haven't seen a deliberate RB on any of our town powers yet, yet we've had power claimed since D1. Unless scum has a jack of all trades with an RB that they used on Red, which I find unlikely in this weird split flavour/role setup.

I too would like to see a full MZero claim in any case.

Ngl I thought it was a Star Wars day too because I looked at the start of the topic before I claimed, forgetting that the Isquen lynch was so quick and we started this day mid-topic. So don't worry Ulti we can all be dumb together.

Call this a suicide mission but I'm anticipating there to be pressure to claim today and quite frankly if going to be mislynched as town it should be today so that you can kill me and move on and minimize risk. I'm an anti-town role that quite frankly shouldn't be left alive until the endgame because it creates too much risk to town. I'm claiming it because the odds of me being nightkilled before endgame are extremely low considering how much town power has claimed, so the information should be considered by town. So make your calculations and kill me if you must.

I'm Jar Jar Binks/Carbink, Hated Townie/Vanilla. I take one less vote to lynch when I'm my Star Wars role, which obviously creates tremendous risk later in the game. I was kind of hoping that I would get shot. I understand the risk of letting scum know that I'm an early hammer but let's be real just claiming Vanilla/Vanilla wouldn't have moved the dial I still would have continued to receive the same pressure.

Under the assumption that Ulti is in fact the doctor which I'm inclined to believe, that means that 2 or 3 scum have to exist in the MZero/Lea/VA trio. I'm more inclined to lean towards MZero/Lea at this point.

Anyways this is all to say kill me if you don't believe me or if you think that my role probably needs to be eliminated today, I won't be upset. If I die today the suspect pool narrows itself down significantly which isn't the worst thing for town. I'd much rather be believed and left alive but yeah.

Well, basically if you had read my post you'd have seen that it was mostly an isquen hunt so the only reason I saw your post was because it was on the same page as a noteworthy isquen post. So the fact that you were ready and primed to talk about the only post that really talked about sheep comes off as defensive in a bad way. We've got three dead scum and yet your mindset is stuck on a day 1 post you made that wasn't even brought up in the current conversation. Well you asked me a question implying that I was being protective of Sheep so I think it's kind of natural to think of the actual post that could have implied I was being protective of Sheep and then I just wanted to be a little cheeky with the comparison. If you took it as defensive then there's not much I can do about that.

Surprised you asked me about that as opposed to when I actively asked whether there was really anything on Sheep outside the claim or something like that, which IIRC Kirby commented on at one point.

Another interesting thing I see from Topic 1 that is more interesting with context w/ Ben's flip is how both Ben and Isquen were mistaking Corrik for Ulti. Kind of weird to me that both made the same exact mistake. Could be a coincidence, but we'll see when I eventually get through all the topics.

I think someone else raised this point first but would a scum VA point out something that in a weird roundabout way helps speak to Ulti's potential innocence? And as a matter of fact I'm not sure if this weird mixup has me thinking differently about Ulti. Do two scum members mix up Corrik/Ulti if Ulti's on their side?

There was a lot of talk about Scare and Sbell being scanned and I only saw Lea really concerned about there being a godfather. With no one being Emporer Palatine on the flip I am convinced that there is one.

I'm probably giving too much benefit of the doubt here but I don't think a newbie scum would dare comment with such an accurate flavor read? However I will acknowledge this post could be read in the exact opposite way, hence my benefit of the doubt.

Well here's a fun little thought summary post for everyone.

Does a scum kirby gladiate himself and two townies knowing that it could potentially blow up in his face, especially to save someone who he would have to know was in fact a flavor cop if he was scum? I doubt it.

Otherwise I don't have a read on VA because I don't really remember what he's done the last handful of days. Lea is ??? because I don't know what to think about the infinite loop logic, but if that's to be believed then chuck her in the scum bucket. Ulti I haven't liked for a handful of days and I still like SBell's logic on him. I've also suspected MZero for a handful of days (especially considering his notable lack of thoughts D2) and this hasn't changed even in light of his Isquen tunneling.
