The Northern offensive getting bogged down delaying the encirclement of Kiev, not getting a handle on the the Southern cities like Mariupol in the initial offensive, poor supply lines etc And how do they not have complete Air superiority yet? The West took out Iraq's Air Force in literally 2-3 hours. I'm no military expert but it all looks so amateurish to me. --- ooh |

The West most unified it's been for a long time with even historically neutral states like Sweden and Finland considering NATO membership. A new focus on reducing energy dependence on Russia by Europe. More nuclear power? European Union standing army may become more of a priority. Germany rearmed on a larger scale? A properly militarised Europe may mean less dependence on US for security in future? Not to mention Georgia and Armenia's position may be under threat also. I think this is the most defining moment for Europe since WW2 --- ooh |
