There's multiple re-released version of Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat 3, Knuckles add on to the Sonic games, Fatal Fury Special was just an updated version of Fatal Fury 2, two versions of Final Fight one starring Guy or Cody. These are just the things that came off the top of my head. And then there are the Pokemon games where you had to buy link cables and different copies of the game, or have friends to trade with, to get everything.
