A short, tightly paced TV show that has next to no filler. True Detective Season 1 is a great example of this. On the comedy side, I would argue that The Mighty Boosh also does that well.

It's really good. I love the fact that it's basically a political thriller mixed with mythological elements (Though, I suppose that describes the entire series). The music is really good too.

This is a stock example of someone being unable to hold more than one idea in their head at once. There is no reason that someone cannot take responsibility while also acknowledging that they are in an unfair situation.

I thought the implication for that scene was that they were watching the opening scrawl and Red thought it was dumb, but liked it when the ships flew onto screen shooting at each other.

No, the multiplayer, at least, hasn't aged well period. It's fun for a couple quick rounds but anything it does, Perfect Dark does better. THAT game's multiplayer still holds up today.

And how many of those taller women went through a male puberty or experienced exposure to the relatively high levels to testosterone in the pre-natal environment? The whole point of me bringing up the typical area of overlap between men and women in height and weight is because it's ridiculous to automatically deny a transwoman access to women's sports when she may have a similar bone density, height, weight, and levels of testosterone to the average cis woman.

One does not have to automatically defend every instance of a transwoman in women's sports just because the bat-shit crazy Christian Republicans are opposed to trans rights and have enacted blanket bans on transwomen in women's sports. There are some cases where a transwoman should be barred from participating in women's sports for reasons that are unrelated to bigotry, as some of them clearly have an unfair physical advantage over the cis women.

I think it's hard to walk away from the movie without some insane notion somewhere, as a comic fan. Whether it's about the cartoon, or Leto's Joker, Pattinson's Batman, or Dr Who and the Multiverse, and honestly this would have seemed pretty awesome to me if I were 16.

I had fun watching it. It served its purpose as a competently made piece of entertainment that isn't exactly bestowing wisdom on its viewers. It was also more memorable than half the MCU, TBH.

This would be true if her height and weight were in the area of common overlap between cis men and cis women.

It was basically just a cross between a B-horror movie and a typical 2000s-early 2010s superhero movie. I could see how someone wouldn't like it, but I think that internet nerds have been doing their usual thing: taking their opinions to the extreme.

I forgot that game existed. I never played it but I heard the encounter rate was insane and that the game itself is very average at best.

Yeah, there were some things that were likable about it, like the music (to an extent) and some of the character designs, but I barely remember anything about it even though I 100%'d it. Well, as close to 100% as you can get; there's a summon that is unobtainable at one of the shrines due to a bug.

The worst encounter rate was in an obscure game for the DS that ripped off Chrono Trigger's art style called "Black Sigil: Blade of the Exiled." You couldn't walk two steps without running into an encounter in that game. It was also a buggy mess. Somehow likeable though.

Basically, for those out of the loop, the game has been damn near unplayable for over two years now, with cheating "bots" joining the game's matchmaking mode repeatedly. The bots play as the Sniper and have perfect aim, so they typically kill people in one or two hits. As of late, they join matches so fast that players can't vote kick them fast enough to stop the server from being filled up with them unless the teams were already mostly full. The only way to play a normal game bot free is on the few community servers that are not running goofy game modes or modifying the game to have 100% critical hits, or something like that.

As per usual, there has been radio silence from Valve, so the community is now trying to get media attention to get Valve to do something, or, at the very least, respond to the community.

Anyone else as doubtful as me as to whether this will work?

I didn't know that they de-listed Sonic Heroes alongside other Sonic games like Black Knight. I thought Heroes was pretty decent.

SNES game was a lot of fun. Especially nice to play an overhead game that's not an RPG.

In my experience the vast majority of "normies" never think to look up most of the things that they have a question about on the internet. We also need to remember that over 50% of the population reads at an 8th grade level or below.

Probably the best way is to read multiple books that give a broad overview of Japanese history. The books covering the same material would be a good thing since people pretty much learn by recall and forging connections between subject matter.
