Yes but ideally you should know your limits and work to exceed them gradually. Signing up for the first half-marathon you see when you just started changing course a month ago is probably a recipe for disaster.

Well if you see someone and literally everything they post gets under your skin you're bound to form some animosity.

Personally I like that about forums. Be it good or bad people on forums have an identity and become recognizable. Compared to Reddit where everyone can say something but it's like talking to a bunch of people without faces. There's so much noise and lack of continuity between posts that identity is zilch. It's just a cluster of people, not a community. At least in a community you have friends and you have malcontents and you know who those are.

But it's a CONSTANT cycle of shitty societal woes. I'm just tired of it. It's like waking up every day with the expectation that today's gonna be good then be reminded "Oh yeah, some nut with a gun proved why civilians are unfit to be armed." Like there's no reprieve, society is off the fucking rails and it's pushed me off the cliff of hopelessness. That's why I broke down and sought out mental health counseling for like the fourth time in my life I need to break out of this because my misery is exceeding what I can live with on a daily basis.

I'd say I need religion but I'm also erring on the belief that modern Christianity is part of the problem with how bad everything is...

I'm not looking for a safe space, per se, I'm just disheartened how eager people are to constantly dwell on how bad society is. CE's negativity and cynicism is unrealistically omnipresent.

As I said in another topic I think I'm mentally weak compared to the people here because I let the content on this board ruin my mood and make me hate everything.

They were both adults when everything got going, big deal. I know people with larger age gaps than that.

CE would have a brawl every day if it was a physical location, I'm sure of it.

I stay on GameFAQs because I crave a sense of belonging in a community in an online world that has seen such things become a vestige of the past. People now exist transiently on places like Reddit or Facebook where everyone has a voice but no one had an identity. At least here you feel like a citizen with a sense of individuality.

I feel like the users here have more mental fortitude than I do. Surely that's why most of the users here can continually rage at the state of society without becoming inconsolably depressed.

No. That was too weird. The armor itself was alright but why they gave him 80 wrist blades is just on the wrong side of absurd.

Probably because a lot of them broke over the years.

I think I already understand why (I'm stubborn about making life and mindset changes when presented with solutions) but I wouldn't mind figuring out how to work past it.
