You inspired me to read up on it , and you were partially right , I didn't fully understand the way keystone works. I didn't realize it was a unique extra nasty type of oil , tar sands. But you're also mistaken because the oil is coming From Canada and to our gulf coast refineries like in Texas.

Also it would make more oil available to us , and it would reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Do you know why they were going to send it overseas? Because we were producing so much under DJT we had a surplus that allowed us to export and sell it ourselves. Now we are importing again under Biden, from our enemies. Further the company that Biden shutdown to get the pipeline operating is suing us for 15 billion dollars for breach of contract under NAFTA or some shit.

The gas prices right now are a direct result of the war, but no one would be in position if not for generations of systematic flaws and greed within the government.

Yes but the rest of the world is even worse when it comes to drilling. Like Russia , supposedly they don't give a fuck about pollution. And I highly doubt Saudi Arabia or Venezuela do either. If we stop drilling those countries will fill the vacuum and they are even worse.

We should start to transition into renewables where it makes sense , and I know there are already billionaires that are just waiting for the contract to be signed. In the meantime we have enough fuel natural resources to be independent of foreign exports for the next century. Plenty of time to wean off them while building up and perfecting out solar and wind and whatever else energies. Halting drilling not only doesn't make sense , it's dangerous.

For one thing he shutdown progress on Keystone and cut back on drilling because he wants to get us off fossil fuel. Sad thing is , no matter how hard we try people are going to be needing gas and oil for decades. There's no way around it and we have tons of gas and oil here ready to go.

And instead of drilling here where there are more regulations to Try and keep it safe , we have to buy hundreds of thousands of barrels a day from Russia, directly funding their war effort. Or OPEC , Iran , and Venezuela. Actually putting money in the pockets of dictators who hate us , that's happening right now and is definitely Biden policy.

Inflation however could be blamed more on Trump and the Fed , of course , than Biden. Printing fucking money we don't have and keeping interests rates low. The federal deficit shot up under Trump because he gave over a trillion in tax cuts while not cutting back on spending. Bidens build back better bullshit failed , although he is trying to fire in another stupid policy that will make us more broke and weaken the dollar more.

Other countries are under no obligation to do business with your country if you're the aggressor in a completely unprovoked invasion.
