Rogan isn't being an idiot about this. He opposes vaccine mandates and lockdowns. Australia is one of the countries that is noted for having successful mandates and lockdowns. He specifically picks these stories to portray the narrative that Australian is an authoritarian hellhole. So when people suggest anything similar in the US to combat any pandemic he and a large chunk of followers will point and say "But have you seen how bad things are in Australia? Do you want us to be like that?"

It doesn't matter that 99% of the stuff he says is complete bullshit. It matters that people believe it. Which they do. It's a common tactic for stuff like this. We literally had an abortion hearing where a Republican guy is grilling a doctor about performing abortions a minute before birth in the birth canal.

Joe Rogan is specifically doing this on purpose. In this case it blew up in his face. But don't act like he's just some ignorant idiot who is doing this by accident. Even if this was somehow true that means someone is still manipulating him to perpetuate the narratives that he consistently portrays and he is doing absolutely nothing about it.

He's reinforcing ideas, sure. But nothing you or any expert can do or say will change their minds. If he were to do exactly as you wanted, he would merely "prove" to those viewers that he is a left wing puppet. I stand by the fact that there were very few people on the fence utilizing JRE to decide whether or not they should vax.

While you're literally exhibiting the same distrust that him and those viewers have towards the media and government. Assuming that he's acting out of some kind of right wing special interest with absolutely no base for accusing him of doing so.

This lack of faith in higher authorities will continue until higher authorities start acting in a matter that is trustworthy. Your own thoughts prove there is a pervasive lack of trust towards power. Some people think it's the right wing media, some think it's the left wing media, some know that it's both.

His whole relationship with NDT is the start of why I like Rogan as a dude so much. Rogan was adamant on the moon landing being faked and Tyson just naw bitched him and Rogan took it with grace. Now they are friends.. I love it.

I think Rogan can be naw bitched into a lot of things by the right people.. But sadly I don't think there's a person alive that can naw bitch the distrust towards the government that lies at the heart of it all.

I believe you overestimate the amount of swayable opinions in this world. I highly doubt there were very many people on the fence listening to Rogan to decide whether or not they were gonna get vaxxed. Where Rogan's opinion is if you are young and healthy you don't need a vaccine.. Which is wrong, but let's not act like he is out there saying "HORSE PASTE IS ALL YALL NEEDS" like people make him out to be doing.

I'm vaxxed and defend Joe constantly.

He's just a dude who knows a few things well and likes to talk about anything. He has a lot of shallow or contentious opinions(like most people) and has thousands of hours of him talking through those opinions. Opinions on countless subjects.

To clean his show up the way people want would end up stealing the charm away from the show. I don't want moderated bull shit from hand selected guests like every other show. Joe's openness, which often gets him in trouble, is the reason why the show is fun. Joe doesn't have angles outside of learning what the person has to say.

A lot of dogs can work as a guard dog if you don't do shit to socialize them. Especially the more their job leans towards violence. A cocker spaniel sure as hell isn't a guard dog, but holy shit did I never want to go into my friend's yard. But some dogs are just bred very specifically to do it.

Pretty much this.

Full-blown panic attacks always revolve around me thinking I'm dying.

Though the build-up to it and feelings that occur with that pending doom feeling.

Hands and feet go numb and or clammy.
Increased heart rate
Dizziness
Weakness in limbs
Fainting(extreme, came close once)
Nausea
Sweating(especially during an attack)

Fixating one of those problems WILL give me a panic attack. So pulling my mind out of my body is essential.

Hyperventilating will elevate calcium levels in your blood which is what causes the numbness and can even cause you to cramp up. Like your entire body. Happened to me where I couldn't move a single fucking muscle in my body.

Use every ounce of will you have to focus on your breathing. Long, slow breaths. In through the nose and out through your mouth. If you can muster it, a little physical activity can help a lot. You are in a fight or flight response, so your body naturally wants to act.

For me, that usually just meant pacing around. Preferably somewhere on the colder side...

But now I have better control of my anxiety and usually, just go cycling or do some yoga when I feel it creeping. Generally, you'll recognize triggers or thought patterns over time and learn to overcome them.

Honestly they need to aim to get big name failures in at QB while the league builds interest.

Imagine a league with Tim Tebow, Johnny Manziel, RG3, Mark Sanchez, Josh Rosen, uhhh Jake Locker, Chad Kelly.

Fuck it.. Throw tons of money at Kaepernick and Tebow. Imagine the spectacle and god awful internet buzz there would be with Tebow vs Kaep.

They don't make good guard dogs (real American Pit Bull Terriers anyway), one because purebred specimens are usually too small at between 30-60 lbs with most falling on the mid-low 40s, and because they were never bred to have guardian/watchdog traits and are generally people friendly and not suspicious of strangers the way a Rottweiler or Corso is. Now these sketchy curs and Bully mixes that people call "Pits" are a different story, some lines have mastiff mixed in. It's a fact though that they have a lot of energy and need to be worked.

My childhood dog was an Aussie.. He was actually very well behaved, but I kept him super occupied..

Being herded was awful.. I mean hilarious now. But start moving anything beyond a walking pace and he would get in my way or outright stop me. Riding a bike or anything with wheels and he would go fucking nuts.

When I got older, he started listening to me so I could on walks with him. He was always really easy to walk at that point too. Unaffected by other dogs, walked beside and behind me at my pace. Always wondered if he started listening to me merely because I was bigger.

I got my mom with a 45.99 a month plus bullshit fees actually 80 a month internet.

But streaming service wise, she uses a bunch of the free ones like Pluto and Tubi. Uses my Hulu account and I pay 5 bucks a month for her to have Discovery+.

She makes it a bit easier on me.

I think it is difficult for some people to acknowledge that two sides of a conflict can both be doing reprehensible things, even if we do accept that one side is more in the wrong than the other. Its tribalism, I guess. Maybe we are hardwired to think that you cant say something bad about your own tribe because others will think youre a traitor.
