I seriously don't get why that's zeroed in on so much. Buzz in Lightyear feels like such a different entity from the Buzz in the Toy Story movies in just about every way. So why does the slightly different voice throw people off of all things.

My biggest gripe is how tacked on the beginning blurb explaining where Lightyear fits in the grander scheme of the TS universe feels.

I honestly just stopped seeking out and started actively avoiding any online discourse towards Lightyear lol. It's just a bunch of bitching about Tim Allen by people who haven't seen the movie.

Tldr: take a break from the internet

It's all so bad for our brains.

Some things I enjoy doing to decompress while unplugged:
-going for walks at my local park
-creating Photoshop edits of my cat
-finding neat one of a kind stuff at thrift stores and writing about them
-writing my feelings down more often in general, about anything in particular
-going to the local library to read instead of doing so at home
-mediatating
-listening to music albums start to finish with good quality headphones

It's less about what you're actually doing and more about what you get out of it. You have to be happy for yourself first mang, you really really do. If not happy, at least mindful. Because even if you luck out and do find someone rn, your relationship would be rooted in unhealthy soil. Just my take.

Bruh please just turn your focus off dating apps for now. Until your first real line isn't "I'm sad" and until your ex isn't a topic of conversation at all. You're coming off as a bit of a messy, emotionally-draining proposition. I think that last string of messages she left was a little cruel but her reasoning is sound.

She's not dissing you for being a grown man with sad emotions. She's dissing you for not taking the intuitive in handling your own mental health.

Do you ever take time to completely unplug from the internet OP? That helped me a lot while I was going through a pretty brutal break up a few months back while simultaneously kicking a hardcore alcohol addiction.

I honestly think there's a lot of good lessons to take away from that exchange if you don't take it personally.

I loved it. I've always been partial to slice of life media like Anne of Green Gables, This Corner of the World, A Christmas Story, etc. I know the deliberately slow pace is not for everyone, but just soaking in the atmosphere of 50's Liverpool was extremely engaging to me.
